This film begins with three cowboys riding up to a farmhouse and killing a man in cold blood. Upon hearing the shots being fired, the man's son comes running out of the house and barely manages to escape with his life. Not long afterward, the man's wife by the name of "Sara Carson" (Isela Vega) comes riding up on a wagon is devastated to see her husband lying dead on the ground and her son crying over him. A few years later, Sara hires a gunman named "Huck" (Cameron Mitchell) to teach her son how to shoot and eventually "Judd Carson" (Jorge Luke) becomes the fastest draw in the local area. Unfortunately, he also becomes extremely violent and hot-tempered-which causes all kinds of problem for everyone involved. Now, rather than reveal any more, I will just say that I liked the overall plot of this movie but it was hampered to a certain degree by the rather basic script and, at times, poor camera work. It also had a rather shocking ending which I didn't quite care for as well. Be that as it may, while I don't consider this to be a bad Western necessarily, it certainly could have used a bit more fine-tuning in some places and for that reason I have rated it accordingly. Slightly below average.
