10 Things I Hate About Julia Stiles
I hate that her idgaf attitude was not present in more 90s teen rom coms.
I hate that I totally forgot about the movie Save The Last Dance.
I hate that she doesn’t get the respect she deserves.
I hate that I thought she was in that movie Swimfan.
I hate that she got stuck doing generic rom coms.
I hate that her character in the Jason Bourne franchise never got a spin-off.
I hate that I really haven’t seen much of her later work.
I hate that she tricked me into liking Shakespeare as a teen.
But most of all, I hate the way I don’t hate her – not even close, not even a little bit, not even at all. Oh, and I hate that I don’t know what the heck happened to her?
So let’s find out: Wtf Happened to.

Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, IFC Films‘ On the Road Starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, and Kristen Stewart, Walter Salles’ On the Road movie version of Jack Kerouac‘s iconic novel will be distributed in North America by IFC Films and Sundance Selects. Is that good news for North Americans? Definitely. Is that good news for On the Road? Well, it’s both good and not-so-good news. It’s good news in that Walter Salles’ film has finally landed a U.S. distributor, which means a 2012 release — some time in the fall, according to reports. It’s not great news for those who were expecting On the Road to find a box-office and awards-season-savvy North American distributor. IFC Films releases usually get enthusiastic reviews, but for the most part they have performed modestly — or downright poorly (at times abysmally) — at the North American box office. Andrew Haigh’s Weekend took in $484k,...

Hollywoodnews.com: When does breakfast turn into potential Armageddon? We’re going to have to check out “It’s a Disaster” to find out.
The literal-titled comedy just added Julia Stiles and America Ferrera in a movie about “four couples who meet for Sunday Brunch only to discover they are stuck in a house together as the world may be about to end,” according to a release. Todd Berger will direct from his own script, and will feature members of the comedy troupe The Vacationeers, including Kevin M. Brennan, Jeff Grace, Blaise Miller, and Berger, himself.
“It’s a crazy story and I was convinced Julia and America would think I’m crazy too, but I’m thrilled they get my sense of humor. I’m excited to have them on board,” said Berger.

This week's choice movie clips take inspiration from perspiration, as the stars show they're only human. By Josh Du Sautoy
Summer is finally upon us, get ready for a season of all the usual: beer gardens, sunburn and buckets of sweat. Apologies for the bluntness, but sweat is simply a by-product of all that heat. While there may be some lucky enough to have perennially dry armpits, there'll be the rest of us caked in the stuff, cooped up in our offices with only a malfunctioning fan to help us stem the tide.
Similar to emotional escape, cinema also provides us with a cool haven away from the heat outside. Sitting down in a (hopefully) airconditioned auditorium, we can forget about our stains for an hour or two, before venturing out into the blazing sun once more.
But what's this? Apparently those up there on the silver screen are real people who sweat too!

Jason Lee's Julia Stiles Fear
Hollywood actress Julia Stiles deeply terrified her latest comedy co-star - because he feared she couldn't be funny. Almost Famous actor Jason Lee says that when he heard he'd be starring opposite Stiles in upcoming flick A Guy Thing, he began to worry that the committed student and star of such serious films as The Business Of Strangers, wouldn't be able to raise a laugh. He says, "She struck me as a quiet, conservative, mild-mannered student. I thought, 'What if she's just not funny?'" But, much to his relief, Stiles proved to be a comedic natural. He adds, "She was very funny."...

Well, at least it is pornographic. It's not like the recent dire and clueless The Pornographer, which might as well have been called The Stenographer, or The Palaeographer. This much-trumpeted shocker from France, written and directed by Virginie Despentes and Coralie Trinh Thi from Despentes' novel, about two young women on the run from the law, does indubitably deliver numberless scenes of 100% guaranteed genuine penetration, fellatio and erect penises in the commonplace hardcore idiom. And not just sex, of course, but violence as well, both in the sense of an unwatchably brutal rape in the opening scenes (the BBFC cut 10 seconds from the sequence) and the general vaguely retributive mayhem against men, and indeed women, sprayed about by Bonnie and Bonnie. And it is this violence, and the spurious and implausible drama bolted on, which transfers the movie from the arena of hardcore sex to softcore controversy.
