Stanley Bates, Geoffrey Hayes, and Roy Skelton in Rainbow (1972)

Trivia

Rainbow

Edit
There is a episode available online where the cast members all talk in innuendo. This was created as part of a 'Christmas Tape' for ITV staff, and never intended to be broadcast on television.
Roy Skelton and Peter Hawkins, whom provided the voice of Zippy, were the voices of The Daleks and The Cybermen in "Doctor Who". John Leeson (Bungle) would later go on to provide the voice of K9 in "Doctor Who".
One of the longest running children's shows on British television.
The show was created with the notion of its being a British equivalent of American children's hit Sesame Street (1969), complete with puppet characters and animated inserts between the story as in the US show.
Rod, Jane and Freddy went on to have their own show "The Rod, Jane and Freddy Show".
