The film was originally directed by Grigoris Grigoriou, but then, because of disagreements with the producer Christos Spentzos, he withdrew from the production. The producer then had to complete the film himself, which is why he bears the title of director in this film.
The movie was screened during 1949-1950 and sold 123,209 tickets. It came in 2nd out of 13 movies.
