Lawrence Talbot, aka the Wolf Man, first appeared in The Wolf Man (1941), played by Lon Chaney Jr. The same-named neighbor of Dave Seville and the Chipmunks bears no resemblance to Chaney's likeness.
There was originally supposed to be an "Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Dracula" film after this one. However, due to an issue between Ross Bagdasarian Jr. and Universal because of lost royalties, the movie never materialized.
Brittany wears a different outfit in this movie. Instead having a pink shirt, skirt and yellow scarf from Alvin & the Chipmunks (1983) and The Chipmunk Adventure (1987), she wears a blue or violet shirt and a pink skirt.
Neither Alvin, Simon, or Theodore had colored eyes in the previous film Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein (1999).
