At 113 completed half-hour episodes, it is the longest-running animated comedy in Canada. It is also the longest-running half-hour sitcom in Canadian television history, beating King of Kensington (1975) by two episodes.
The theme song is to the tune of "Jeepers, Creepers".
The accompanying piano music throughout the series is a spoof of the piano playing from the long running Canadian children's show Mr. Dressup (1967).
The show was based off of a web-series based off the same name made by Mondo Media back in 1997, which then aired on CTV and Burly Bear in early 1998.
