Post-WWII Greece. After surviving the horrors of war, Christos, an amnesiac freedom fighter, ends up in a Red Cross hospital. Having no recollection of his brother's betrayal during the German Occupation of Athens, where innocent patriots perished, the grizzled patient has a pivotal encounter with two mysterious figures: his physician and Katerina, a sad-eyed stranger. More and more, Christos struggles to remember, forcing a guilty family secret to come to light. But a man's honour never dies. As Christos puts himself in harm's way, dangerous questions emerge. Is he prepared to face the shameful truth and deal with the grotesque ghosts of treason?
