Back in the days when the Greek film industry was a thriving parochial affair they turned out hundreds of these cut price rural dramas. Here, the farm boy has to fight the balding heavy to prove his devotion to the blonde heroine with dark roots who he has kidnapped.
Shoddy black and white production values but the Greek speaking audience loved the comic relief and didn't seem to be worried by the cast looking at the director for approval all the time.
The flies that kept crawling over everything were the most realistic touch. I kind of miss these.
