Madhu is a rich man with a brattish Ambika as his only daughter. In the same town lives Srividya who is a teacher .She is single by choice .In comes young Raghu raj to study .
He does not have a family to talk of .
Very soon he steals many hearts due to his simple nature. Srividya starts nurturing him as her protege .
He excels in studies due to her .
Madhu and Srividya keep crossing each others' paths as they are from the same town . Though Madhu tries his best he is unable to propose to Srividya . Meanwhile she is preparing to go abroad to further her studies.
Madhu kind of adopts this new boy to groom him . His daughter is unhappy with this new comer and keeps pestering and teasing him .
Meanwhile Raghu with his charm and simplicity wins over every one . A cute love story is woven around veterans Madhu and Sriviyda .
They unite in the end along with Ambika and Raghu. There is a silly parallel comedy track with Sukumari which does not invoke much laughter . Sad to see a senior actress cast in such a stupid role .
