Raj Kiran was nervous doing the romantic scenes with a star like Rekha. The director requested Rekha to take the lead in the scene and told Rekha that Raj Kiran was a "Kid".
The film was delayed because Rekha lost interest in the film.
Shekhar Suman was offered the film but declined.
The film was in the making since 1983.
