The song "Everybody Dance With Me" from College Girl was sampled from " In Da Gada Vida" by Iron Butterfly and The Troggs song "Wild Thing". Years later Bappi Lahiri once again used "Wild Thing" as inspiration for his song " Paas Aao Na" from Sumbandh. On a side note,"In Da Gada Vida" was used as back ground music in Feroz Khan's Apradh. It was used during the scene where Feroz is forced to rob the warehouse.
The instrumental music "I Love You" was sampled from Donna Sommer's song "I Love You".
College Girl song I Love You ,prelude of this song and its uncredited female vocals were sampled from Donna Summer's hit track "I Feel Love" (1977). Bappi Lahiri used this tune with more success later in the song "Rambha Ho Ho Ho" ("Armaan", 1981).
