Directed by actor Jerzy Stuhr from a script by the late filmmaker Krzysztof Kieslowski (whose professional relationship with Stuhr dated back to the 1970s), after Kieslowski's death in 1996.
Director/star Jerzy Stuhr provides the camel's singing "voice", post-dubbing in his own electronically manipulated vocal recordings (rather than commanding the animal to make sounds on the set).
