This is a very entertaining movie - funny and engaging. It's great to see French Stewart play a role so much different from his character on Third Rock. He is certainly a talented actor. The movie itself is an attention-keeper, because it truly is difficult to figure out who the culprit is, and there are so many twists. And, man, was that an unexpected ending. Great movie!
I found this to be a refreshing old-style murder mystery with plenty of suspects, several murders, some clever switches and a tremendous solution. The setting was lovely but not over-used. No unnecessary effort was made to glamorise with stunts or props, allowing the plot, though complicated, to proceed in a logical fashion. A splendid example of easy to love entertainment. Most of the actors were unknown to me but did not look like each other (preventing identity confusion) and all did their jobs well.
