I recorded this from TV some years ago. Must have been in the late 80's or early 90's. Didn't note the date on the tape.
If my memory serves me correctly, it was on A&E. Back in that time period, A&E had what I call "war night" on Wednesday evenings.
It is on VHS tape. I am going to burn an archive copy to DVD for my own personal use, as tape deteriorates with time.
I have never seen this for sale on VHS tape or DVD. Maybe someone should contact NBC.
It was followed at a later date by another WWII documentary from the same source, same narrator I believe. It was called the "Twisted Cross" and was about Hitler et al. Music is from the same source as Victory at Sea. Another great production that will get lost in time by people today who don't care about the past!
