This was a really well-scripted and innovative directed film. Back then, it was the first film that showed the cop and villain chase with equal detailing presented from both aspects: the planning of the crime as well as the investigation. That's what made the film gripping and entertaining throughout. The dialogues and cinematography were also really good. The soundtrack too stood out. Overall, it's one of those rare movies which had everything in proper place. Urvashi's character, however, could have been made less passive and submissive and instead given more depth and strength. She's an excellent actress who can do any role. Mammooty was fantastic as the cop. The villain, played by Captain Raju, was portrayed with the right amount of evilness and mystery.
