This film is a low-budget tale of a small-time fence and police informer who cannot seem to successfully deal with a corrupt police department, and with his friends. Some good acting is managed along with sporadically interesting direction, and ofttimes creative camera-work, despite a trite and muddled script. William McNamara's principal expression (deer in headlights), is appropriate for his part, while Jay Acovone steals each scene in which he appears in this work, filmed completely within that assault upon the senses, Los Angeles' Skid Row. Attempts at humor are welcome, but a better script would have been necessary to make this an artistic success.
It's so bad and awful. Its not even on letterboxd. So cheap and all over the place it's hardly able to be considered watchable. I'm sure it had a heart with the inclusion and all. And truly that is new york city and life itself. Filled with different people. But not everything that happens in one's life is considered cinematic. It's so boring and cheap has no feet and no meaning. Some new york crooks do stuff and try and scape ever way they can. They run around searching just like us the audience follow along an try and catch something interesting to hold onto. Not even a good effort by anyone. Seen on YouTube on February the 8th 2025.

I loved every minute of this movie so much that I would definitely recommend it to everyone else! William McNamara-my favorite actor-did a phenomenal job on his part alongside Marlee Matlin. This is one of my favorite crime-drama/thriller movies along with Copycat. Again, definitely would recommend it!
