It is a pity that two of Patrick Troughton's superb performances, as Paul of Tarsus (1960) and as Daniel Quilp in the old Curiosity Shop (1962), which I remember watching and enjoying as a teenager, are not available to view. Pat was not very tall but this role as a malevolent dwarf was made extraordinarily effective by having him crouching on chairs or tables. I wish I could see it again to find out if it was as good as I remember and worth the score I have given it. Pat was probably the most reliable and best known character actor of his day and his very presence was a guarantee of a rewarding viewing experience.

If anyone knows where I can find this, please let me know.
