In 1999, Fox Kids aired only the first ten episodes before cancelling the show, even though a whole twenty-two episode-long first season had already already been produced. In 2007, Toon Disney aired the show in its entirety, and this was the first time that the last twelve episodes were aired in the U.S. The show was aired in its entirety for the first time anywhere on Irish TV channel RTE Two in 2001.
Tim Curry and Tony Jay previously co-starred in "Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series."
