Once you catch the Laurie Anderson bug, you're hooked.
There are only four actual music videos in the traditional sense on this collection, but Laurie Anderson has never let anything like tradition get in the way of creating interesting art. The videos -- for "Beautiful Red Dress," "Language is a Virus," "Sharkey's Day" and "O Superman" -- show her range as a songwriter, performer and director, and the rest of the tape shows off her quirky sense of humour. We get to see bizarre snippets from her various television appearances, some thought-provoking Public Service Announcements and some other things which are quite indescribable, as well as a revealing tour of her home/studio.
This is one video collection that is definitely worth tracking down.
