- Virginia marches with her father Don Fito to the church where she is to marry Miguel del Campo. Upon arriving, Sardalia, the local witch, warns her not to marry because she is a sinner. A scandal ensues. The ceremony is called off, investigations start and Don Fito, through his daughter's confession, learns that she has been flirting with all three of her boyfriends, Antonio, Marcial and Miguel. The latter takes advantage of the rivalry between Antonio and Marcial and convinces Virginia to marry him. Antonio and Marcial in the meantime, keep tricking each other to win Virginia's favor. They both leave town when they accidentally wound "La Guera", Antonio's other girlfriend. Finally, Don Fito learns that Virginia's flirting has been innocent and sinless. The three suitors fight among themselves once more. Antonio wins Virginia's hand, Marcial obtains "La Guera's" favor, and Miguel the affectation of MArcial's sister. Don Fito also has a consolation prize in the person of Cirila, an employee of his hotel and restaurant.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
