Wildflower (aka Blood Related) is a low budget thriller with a fairly serviceable plot - made in the days before a hostile takeover by hydra headed sharks, giant octopi and aging Playmates.
After a wealthy patriarch (and corporate oligarch - although we never learn what this mighty organisation actually does) dies during a sex induced heart attack with a sadistic hooker, his dysfunctional family rendezvous at a chalet/cottage deep in the beautiful California countryside (easily the outstanding feature) to claim his/their fortune. Of course, there's endless backstabbing, scheming and even murder; the loose cannon amidst the intrigue is a mysterious hitchhiker with her own agenda.
Silly and cheesy as it is, Wildflower is still a cut above the average erotic thriller nonsense. Although overacting abounds throughout, there's a decent opening theme and it is generally well edited and photographed. The lifting and loading Is amply provided for by the stunning duo of Tamie Sheffield and C.C Costigan - the former became a poster girl for the rest of the decade; the latter made a few more films, dabbled in reality TV, and then disappeared thereafter.

No, i didnt not enjoy this movie because of the sex, i enjoyed this movie because of the good solid plot and the above average acting. Most erotic movies suck because of the amount of sex but this one was fine.
The thing that is most sad is that they use big breasted tramps as the leading lady and typically buff guys for the leading man.
This certainly is one of the best i've seen in a long time. 8/10
If you like this try:
Secret Games 3

Wild Flower is a surprisingly good film. It is the rare "erotic thriller" That manages to be both erotic and suspenseful. It tells a good story and the actors are very talented
Of special interest to "Women Of Wrestling" fans is the appearance of Tamie Sheffield who played "Sandy" of the Beach Patrol on the series. Tamie has 3 nude scenes in this movie. She looks fantastic. Even better than you imagined. But the thing that makes Tamie special is not only is she beautiful but she is also a very talented actress. I thought her performance in this film was excellent. She really brought the character of " Zoe" to life. I think Tamie is going to be very successful in Hollywood. She will also be appearing in the upcoming low budget horror film "Cheerleader Massacre". That should also be good. If you have a chance to see tamie you should. She's great! The last 30 minutes of this film contain many plot twists . You dont see them coming either The film starts slow but builds to an excellent conclusion. While still a low budget "B" movie The acting and writing are way above par for this genre. So in conclusion get a copy of the "Wild Flower" dvd you will be very glad that you did

At first, I thought this was going to be another cheesy erotic thriller. Then the strangest thing happened. I found myself getting caught up in all the crosses and double crosses taking place before me.
There's enough a whodunit (not to mention whose-doing-it-with-who) in the midst of all this that will keep you guessing until the very end. If that wasn't enough, there's a really hot lesbian scene about halfway through the movie. The only drawback the film has a ridiculous and confusing final few minutes. It taints everything that came before it and is confusing. It also fails to do just to the one person who truly deserves it. However, in the end, this movie is exactly what it set itself out to be. . . a solid erotic thriller with plenty of both.

This movie is without a doubt one of the best erotic movies. I have ever seen, not because of the sex well that played a part, but because of the brilliant acting from these unknown stars, who aren't really credited enough. The only bad thing about this movie was some of the actors weren't given a full introduction and not much was known about a few sub-main characters.
This movie has a decent story with a good twist. It has greedy siblings fighting over a huge inheritance with the normal character flaws and betrayal. At one point I was reminded of the old mystery, "The Last of Sheila". No spoiler but if you have watched both you will know what I mean.
I do not think it was excessively erotic though I am sure that is a reason some will be watching. It does not monopolize the movie.
I wish there was a little more character development time devoted to the story but I found it a good watch.

As a teen I was raised on these Skinemax kind of movies, so I have a soft spot for them...This was one I'd never heard of and it turns out to be a pleasant surprise. It does feature the usual beautiful women (I think I remember the blond girl winning FEAR FACTOR once) getting naked but there was actually a pretty good story in there too with alot of back-stabbing among the family to keep things interesting.
The movie is also well shot for a low budget with a certain slickness and style that are usually overlooked in these kinds of movies. They even make good use of the main location -- A cabin in the middle of the woods.
Too bad we never got a sequel since it seems set up perfectly for one.
