Massihi's only feature film is the best Iranian film ever
The Last act is one of the most important films made in Iran after the revolution. Karim Massihi uses very interesting method for the narration of the film in which although the it has a very complex story, the film's narration is so simple. Definitely The Last Act is one of the best Iranian films in terms of the acting specifically Nikoo kheredaman and Mahaya Petrosian did wonderful performance. From the very beginning the story is established on lies which disturb the audience. However, at the end instead of the audience the director (Kamran Mirza) decide to fool the producer (Tajolmoluk). This shift at the end shows that the director is more concerned about the prestige of the work and his audience rather than the producer.

An Important Iranian Film
When this film was presented, in Iranian Fajr festival of film, it obtained many awards. I think it nominated on 10 subject, and obtained many of them. All actors presented very good performances ( leading and supporting roles), especially Nikoo Kheradmand that was her first movie.
The story begins when a woman come to her dead husband's home, and she started to find some information about her husband's (daeth or killing!). The movie has a complex story, and complexity increases. At the end, you will find a shock and you will think about the complexity after watching.
But in spite of these achievements, the movie (in that time) did not find good success in box office in Iran.
