I often used to watch Wish You Were Here? when ITV screened it, usually on a Monday evening between 7 and 7:30 pm. I don't think they make this anymore as it's not been on for a while.
Judith Chalmers was the main presenter and others included John Carter, Mary Nightingale and former Blue Peter presenter Anthea Turner. These people have been all over the world, not a bad little job and being paid for it as well.
Destinations on this show were worldwide, including Australia, USA, Africa, China and India. British destinations were also covered. Different types of holidays featured including safaris and good old Butlins in the UK.
This had a catchy theme tune as well.
It would be nice to see Wish you Were Here? back on our screens.
