Sabrina stars in this romantic feature that unfortunately plays like a loop carrier. Actress turned director Lynn Ray makes the porn seem soft and mushy, and even throws in a teary-eyed ending.
Problem here is obvious -there's a cast of many characters but they don't interact with each other -the key hint that we're watching a bunch of scenes basically unrelated, just strung together by having Sabrina and her lover Randy West reminisce: "remember the time I caught you making love to Amy in the backyard?". Even infidelity is treated as romantic by this couple.
An assortment of talent is on view in these flashbacks including Frankie Leigh, blonde Jessica Longe and Brandy Wine. It all merely proves that it takes more than raw sex to deliver the poignancy of a movie like "Same Time Next Year", clearly what Lynn was aiming at.
