    Best Kitaro remake

Here is another anime version of "Gegege no Kitaro," which I really love besides the 1968 version. In case you folks don't know, Kitaro has been my latest anime obsession since last summer.

A reason to love this remake is because it was made in my birth year, 1985. What an era I was born into! Another reason I love this version is because of the animation and design. Also, for the pairings I "shipped," like Kitaro and Yumeko Tendo, I'm sorry, Kitaro and Neko-Musume shippers. It's true that I like "friendship-turned-love" matches, but I have my limits. Another pairing I like is Nezumi-Otoko and Caroline from the movie "Gegege no Kitaro: The Great Rebellion of the Multi-Dimensional Yokai." I really, really want to see "The Great Rebellion of the Multi-Dimensional Yokai." After watching episodes online, I now have 23 favorite episodes. Like I said, many episodes are altered adaptations of stories from the manga, and it is really hard for me to choose which version of that particular story I love.

So anyway, I love both the 1968 and 1985 versions out of the five anime versions of "Gegege no Kitaro." And I'm hoping that the company "DiscoTek" will license all of the TV series and movies for North American DVD.
