This is the dubbed Hindi version of the Tamil movie Thanikattu Raja, originally released in 1982.
Rajnikanth and Sridevi did not dub for the dubbed Hindi version. Dubbing artiste were used.
A song "Mullai Arumbe" which was part of the movie album, did not feature in the movie.
