Herschel Savage plays the producer of a TV soap that needs something to improve its ratings in this professionally made (courtesy of reliable producer-director Jerome Tanner) but routine VHS feature. Somehow this mediocre item got AVN award nominations.
Title character Careena Collins is a young nympho caught stealing by security guard Mike Horner, who f*cks Savage and his assistant Tom Byron. She impresses Byron and is hired to spice up the show.
Soon most of the cast has also humped Collins, and TV gossip columnist Shanna McCullough witnesses this action and hypes the show's new cast member on her broadcast. Ratins success is assured.
With no real conflict here, even though the cast supposedly had rivalries, the story is stillborn - a lot of catfighting and treachery among cast members would have been interesting and made sense in spoofing soap cliches. Instead, Tanner and his scripter Ciffton Darke merely deliver sex, no drama.
