'Sunil Shetty' was part of the project and had done some shooting for the film before he dropped out. Mukul Dev was also approached for the same role.
The film released about a year later then its actually intended release date, due to financial issues K.C. Bokadia faced.

Amitabh signed the film for a unheard of amount of 4 crores in 1996. This was done to pay off the creditors that ABCL owed.
