Why no mention of Aldo Ray's small role in the film?
Ray's involvement gave the movie an extra degree of notoriety at the time of its release, and was the sole reason (somewhat sheepishly, lol) I went to a porn theater to see it back in the day.

One wouldn't think that an adult film could be exploitative and sensitive at the same time, but director Alex de Renzy pulls that off with this somewhat offbeat and adventurous picture.
It tells the tale of the title woman, a bright, personable character who's clearly vowed not to let her deformity get her down. Her left leg ends in a stump that just so happens to resemble an enlarged version of the male anatomy. Jeanne works this to her advantage, as she uses her stump to satisfy both males and females with regularity.
Naturally, most of the running time is devoted to some very erotic heterosexual and lesbian sex scenes. De Renzy gets down to business in record time, as the first major sequence involves a three way. What's most striking is the way De Renzy combines an episodic quality, as we see the steamy encounters between Jeanne and her partners introduced by Jeanne herself, documentary style, in the manner dubbed by buffs as "cinema verite".
Jeanne is so appealing that this viewer wouldn't have minded slightly longer introductory sequences. One standout sequence has her educating two interested young associates on her sex life, and she reveals herself as very human when the conversation reduces her to tears at one point.
Recommended to people who want a little something out of the ordinary in their adult entertainment.
Seven out of 10.

Long Jeanne is an young and clearly intoxicated blonde-haired lass with one strange difference that made her a porn star of note in the late 70's and early 1980s. Jeanne had phallic birth defect.... Meaning: A leg stump in the shape of a huge erection! Jeanne waves her sexy stump around throughout this film like a plucked chicken wing and when she actually penetrates some poor miserable co-star (reportedly a guy director Alex De Renzy picked up on Polk Street in San Francisco), you have to fight your eyes to keep them from popping right out of your head. Check this legendary American adult film out. It may not be all that professionally made but it is awfully unique and you'll never forget it!

Long Jeanne Silver (1977)
** 1/2 (out of 4)
Director Alex de Renzy made over a hundred porn films in his career but it's doubtful that any of them are as bizarre as this one here. We're introduced to Jeanne Silver through various interviews where she talks about her handicap and from here we see her various sexual encounters.
Silver's handicap is the fact that she's an amputee whose left leg looks like a very large penis. In fact, the poster and dialogue make a joke at of her being bigger than John Holmes. Yes, LONG JEANNE SILVER is basically a film that was made to try and make some quick cash on the fact that they've got an amputee doing the sex scenes. There are scenes with her and women, her involved in threesomes and one man who gets the stump up his, umm, you know what.
Is LONG JEANNE SILVER a good movie? Probably not. I mean, it's basically 65-minutes of no plot and just sexual situations where you're watching Silver do her thing. This is certainly a pretty bizarre movie and it's easy to see why it ended up becoming a cult favorite. It's certainly not a masterpiece and I'd argue that Silver doesn't have much of a personality on the screen but as pure exploitation the film keeps you interest throughout the running time.
