The second collaboration between actress Norma Talmadge and producer Joseph M. Schenck.
Early scenes in the film, depicting a private boarding school for girls, was shot at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind in St. Augustine. The school's actual girls' basketball team were drafted to appear in the film.
The production crew was based in Jacksonville during filming, with scenes shot in that city and in nearby St. Augustine.
