When Willie is rubbing lotion on his arms when he and Thorold are on the VR beach, Thorold takes his goggles off with one hand, then puts them back with one hand. When he is shown back in the VR, he is shown using both hands to put his goggles back on.
Franco Macalousso is the Anti-Christ. He sometimes wears glasses. This would not occur in reality because the Anti-Christ is Satan, a fallen Angel, and he cannot be killed. Therefore, he would not need glasses to correct his vision.
