Cantinflas and Ángel Garasa often worked together, but their collaboration in this movie was like no other. The scene in which they mistake each other for the flight instructor is so full of jokes and improvisation and they broke character laughing so many times that it took multiple takes and several days to complete.
The airplane used in the record breaking flight is a Fuerza Aérea Mexicana Beechcraft C-45 Expeditor.
