There is a bit more detail in this tv movie about the story of Dublin hood Martin Cahill than the film The General(1998)The BBC made the mistake of putting it in colour instead of black and white and the result is that if you've seen The General(1998) than you'll think this doesn't work.Read the book The General by Paul Williams and watch the film.
