Sometimes slow, sometimes funny, but entertaining

This movie has a lot of things going for it, with a pretty interesting cast and good dialogue. There are some slow parts to the movie, specifically the performance by Richard Belzer. I'm a fan of Belzer, but his performance lacks intensity and doesn't really add much to the film. The main characters are interesting, and the direction is superb. Don't expect "Clerks" or "Reality Bites", but it's an interesting movie with some very good laughs.
