- ConnectionsVersion of Evan Almighty (2007)
Featured review
In modern times, there are three films that come to mind dealing with Noah and the great flood; Noah in 2014, Evan Almighty in 2007, and this Disney version from 1998. Honestly, this is the most family friendly version, and not just because it is a Disney film, it was directed by Ken Kwapis. He is known more for his family friendly films. And, of course, there's Tony Danza in the lead role, and he's as family friendly as they come.
Wallace Shawn co-stars in his own zany way as a character actor, as he does very well. The animal co-stars are also really interesting to see as well, its amazing how well they trained them. The story is written to be funny, but also serious and dramatic at times. Disney's Noah is worth a watch, especially for children; they will love the animals.
