Mega reality TV producer Carlos King said he has faith that “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes will eventually make her return to the franchise.
“We saw NeNe Leakes co-host the [E!] Emmys red carpet after show, along with my friend Justin Sylvester and Ariana Maddix from ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ and we all supported that decision in terms of, ‘Yay, NeNe’s back doing stuff with the network, and that’s great and they promoted her,'” King told TheWrap in response to whether or not he believed Leakes would rejoin the series.
“I think it’s a great first step in the right direction.”

One part The Office, one part Dracula, and several parts the 2014 What We Do In The Shadows movie from Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, this charming FX sitcom has been chugging along for the past six years, reliably producing season after season of quality comedy with a horror twist. What We Do In The Shadows occasionally earned a viral moment or a spike in popularity, but mostly it sank or swam by doing what sitcoms always did: introducing a great cast of memorable characters, finding hilarious people to play them, and then making merciless fun of them episode after episode, year after year.
The only minor difference is that most of the characters here happen to be vampires: ancient lunkhead Nandor (Kayvan Novak), quick-to-anger Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), smooth-talking Lazslo (Matt Berry), the boring-on-purpose energy vampire Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch), and Nandor's long-suffering familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), who is more competent...

How I Met Your Mother is not just a show; it’s a cultural phenomenon. The sitcom debuted in 2005 and went on until 2014, with a total of nine seasons. In these, the audience was left guessing who, among several of Ted Mosby’s (Josh Radnor) ex-girlfriends, was the mother of Luke and Penny.

With Margot at the Wedding, writer-director Noah Baumbach makes an Éric Rohmer film. The character’s names are French, it’s lit like a French movie, cut like a French movie, and has the rhythms and languorousness of, specifically, a Rohmer movie. But, and this may be a hot take: Rohmer never made a film as textured and exquisite as the one Baumbach makes here. Rohmer’s films often deal with an indecisive man-child choosing between two women: there’s a lovely wistfulness about them, but they’re repetitive and limited in depth.
Baumbach captures the Rohmer melancholia, but he fleshes out all the relationships in the film so they are deeply lived-in and layered. The film is all frayed edges, with unpredictable touches and uncomfortable complexities…...

NBC’s La Brea season two episode 11 is titled “The Wedding” but there’s a lot more going on besides the exchange of I Dos. Episode 11 opens with Caroline (Melissa Neal) and her dad, Silas, going over Dr. Moore’s notes, hoping they’ll lead to a solution on how to send Gavin and his family home. They’re not making any progress and are worried Gavin will turn to James for help. Silas (Mark Lee) regrets that he failed to protect Gavin from James all those years ago and dedicates himself to working on Moore’s notes.
He sends Caroline back to the camp to watch over her son. Seconds after she walks away, Silas is shot. The shooter picks up the now blood-spattered notes and leaves without showing their face.

Stars: Saturnino García, Félix Gómez, Elena Furiase, Montse Pla, Dunia Rodríguez, Nacho Guerreros, Erika Sanz, Federico Repetto, Vicky Jorge | Directed by Isaac Berrocal, Erika Elizalde, Manuel Martínez Velasco, Víctor Matellano, Piter Moreira
Based on an original idea by co-director Víctor Matellano, this black-and-white anthology film opens on Halloween night as children trick-or-treat. Gravedigger Mister Fettes (Saturnino García), preferring to be called Vampus, feels unappreciated for his work. He holds a sour outlook on the world, as established when he reads a news story about a hipster being stabbed 45 times and reacts by saying it wasn’t enough.
Matellano directs the wraparound segments, where Vampus acts as a storyteller to the audience in a manner resembling The Cryptkeeper. He also encounters many people whose lives he ends at the slightest irritation, before feeding them to his ghoulish pet named Toby. It’s constantly entertaining to watch this ill-tempered gravedigger that García terrifically brings alive.

On Feb. 13, 1998, New Line unveiled The Wedding Singer in theaters in time for Valentine’s Day audiences. The Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore rom-com went on to earn 123 million globally at the box office. The Hollywood Reporter’s original review is below.
We’ve all heard him, usually at weddings and bar mitzvahs where alcohol often blurs true appreciation of his talents. Song stylist extraordinaire, he has the uncanny ability to make virtually any song, even “In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida,” sound like “Hot Hot Hot.”
Now, thanks to Adam Sandler, he has been finally given his due in The Wedding Singer, a (for the most part) winning romantic comedy that plays off the per former’s sweet, loopy personality. Despite a saggy middle stymied by sappy good intentions, the picture stands as Sandler’s best effort.

Egyptian filmmaker Sam Abbas (The Wedding) has unveiled an international contest for female filmmakers, with the winner's short film being included in his upcoming feature, Alia’s Birth.

Following the launch of his production company ArabQ, the first ever Arab-based production company focused on movies with Lgbtq themes, Egyptian-American filmmaker Sam Abbas will soon release his first feature film. Based in Alexandria, Egypt, ArabQ aims to develop projects speaking to the Middle Eastern experience while also supporting Lgbtq stories and creatives.
“The Wedding” tells the story of Rami (Abbas), a closeted Muslim man hiding his sexuality while preparing for his upcoming wedding to Sara (Nikohl Boosheri), as he struggles to square his desires with his strict religious upbringing. Abbas explored similar territory in his 2016 short film, “Time to Come,” which received enough praise to convince him the subject was worth further exploration.
“The film to me, more than anything, is about repression and alienation. Cultural and religious upbringings impact day to day lives regardless of a person’s self-decided point of views,” Abbas told IndieWire. “People don’t...

“It was a no-brainer. We knew we could make it happen,” exclaims Eric McCormack about the successful revival of NBC’s “Will and Grace” this past season. The series, which originally aired from 1998 to 2006, returned to the peacock network in the fall and has already been renewed for two additional seasons. McCormack’s performance as fastidious attorney Will Truman earned him four Emmy nominations for Best Comedy Actor, winning once in 2001. In our exclusive webcam interview (watch the video above), McCormack discusses that Emmy win and how returning to play Will was “like putting on a very comfortable pair of shoes.”

For both McCormack and the show’s co-creator Max Mutchnick, it was important for the revival to show Will as an older, single gay man and “explore it from a point of strength rather than apologizing.

“Will & Grace” was well-known for its cavalcade of guest stars during its original run, gobbling up double-digit Emmy nominations, and even wins for Bobby Cannavale (2005) and Leslie Jordan (2006). The NBC sitcom hasn’t missed a step in this revival season, bringing back many old favorites while also introducing multiple memorable characters from new guest stars. But which guest stars should be singled out for Emmy nominations this year? Vote in our poll below.
Cannavale and Jordan, who play Will’s (Eric McCormack) ex-boyfriend Vince D’Angelo and Karen’s (Megan Mullally) nemesis Beverley Leslie, respectively, won Emmys for their roles in the original series and are now eligible again this year. Both have great showcase episodes in the revival, with Will reevaluating how things went wrong with Vince in “The Wedding” and Beverley revealing his very obvious truth to Karen in “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Crying.

Jack lives! Well, no, not really. He’s about as alive as Carl on “The Walking Dead” at this point. But the Season 2 finale of NBC smash “This Is Us,” titled “The Wedding,” was a ratings bonanza, and featured an imaginary flash-forward (revealed to be a recurring Kate dream) in which Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) was still alive and renewing his wedding vows with Rebecca (Mandy Moore).
The episode was ultimately about the wedding of Kate (Chrissy Metz) to Toby (Chris Sullivan) and the ensuing drama. But with so much going on, viewers flocked to the finale, which was the No. 1 program among adults 18-49 (4.4 rating) for the week ending March 18, when three days’ worth of DVR and VOD time shifting is included. That means it jumped ahead of juggernaut “The Walking Dead,” which was close behind at No. 2.

Most of the quick flash-forwards teased at the end of This Is Us' season 2 finale were of an ominous or literally depressing nature. The future doesn't look all that bright for the Pearson family. However, there was a little bit of happiness sprinkled in as it appears Kevin has found a new love in the form of Beth's cousin / adopted sister, Zoey. Although the interaction between Kevin and Zoey consisted of just a few short lines at the very end of "The Wedding," she's exactly the type of character Kevin needs to grow and mature.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains details about tonight's This Is Us season 2 finale “The Wedding” on NBC. Out of all the flash-forwards that were the eeriest tonight on the season 2 finale of This Is Us was a moment between an older Tess and her father Randall in which the latter says to his daughter "It's time to go see her, Tess.” There’s been some speculation that the next big mystery to be solved on This Is Us centers around Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson); that there’s…...

[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “This Is Us” Season 2, Episode 18, “The Wedding.”]
Is… is it over? No, not Season 2. Clearly, that has come to a close. But are we really, truly, 100 percent done fixating on Jack’s death? After an entire season built around revealing, in excruciating detail, exactly how the Pearson family patriarch met his early end, as well as teaser trailers for the finale that showed Jack aged well beyond his actual lifespan, the Season 2 finale wrapped up with what feels like finality.
It’s hard to trust — after all, we’ve been duped before — but it seems like Dan Fogelman’s NBC drama is ready to move forward. The episode itself, ostensibly built around Kate and “The Wedding,” was far from a smooth ride. (Far too often we covered our eyes like Rebecca crossing a bridge.) But if in a year we’re not talking about the explicit details of a father and husband’s untimely demise,...

The Season 2 finale of “This Is Us” is going to the chapel, and Toby (Chris Sullivan) and Kate (Chrissy Metz) are getting married. Yes, the episode, appropriately titled “The Wedding,” will end in a marriage — Susan Kelechi Watson tells TheWrap there will be nothing but “happy tears” for Katoby fans Tuesday night. Charles Burnett is a writer-director whose work has received extensive honors. Born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, his family soon moved to the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles. His thesis project, Killer of Sheep (1977), won accolades at film festivals and a critical devotion; in 1990, it was among the first titles named to the Library of Congress’ National Film Registry. European financing allowed Burnett to shoot his second feature, My Brother’s Wedding (1983), but a rushed debut prevented the filmmaker from completing his final cut until 2007. Sometimes, rumors are just plain old wrong. While it was alleged, last month, that the Wachowski siblings and Tom Tykwer‘s Cloud Atlas would come the first weekend of December, Variety’s Andrew Stewart tweets that it’ll actually hit on October 26th. (A claim that it runs for 164 minutes are still tentative.) Dan Fellman, WB’s president of distribution, said this about the decision:
“Audiences who have seen an early screening of Cloud Atlas have been elated by its powerful and inspiring story, as well as its breathtaking visuals. An October release in North America is the perfect window to showcase this epic film.”
Tom Hanks, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant, Hugo Weaving, Ben Whishaw, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Bae Doona, and Jim Sturgess all star in the film, a take on David Mitchell‘s wild novel (about, I suppose, the nature of reincarnation) that covers huge amounts of time,...
