Featured review
It's the Beetles against the Boogie Bugs -- basically, spiders -- and the Boogie Bugs are running away with the game. Indeed, how could they not, when they have more legs than the opposition, especially when the game little beetle quarterback winds up breaking every leg and still going back in.
It's still early days for Technicolor at Charles Mintz' cartoon factory, and the color design of this one is very primitive: little shading of the paints, and mostly large areas colored in between the lines. Still, the gags are amusing, and the story is fun. What more can you ask?
