Natalya Neidhart enters a wrestling ring with total confidence, but admits she used to struggle with insecurities just like everybody else.
“It’s interesting — all the things that I used to worry about, that I was insecure about, they are the things that make me highly successful,” the Total Divas star, 34, tells People Now. “Being different and being unique, all those unique eccentricities that only Nattie has, for whatever crazy reason they’ve brought me to the top.”
One of those features is her unique voice. While she embraces it now, Neidhart says she was teased about it growing up.

Demi Lovato is "Confident" in her sexuality, and she's not afraid to say so. The singer tells People it's "fair to say" she doesn't care for labels. In fact, when it comes to sexuality, "It's something I don't think needs to have a label: As humans, It's just about a connection with someone." This, of course, isn't the first time Lovato, 23, has been vocal on the matter. After she released her single "Cool for the Summer" last year, its blush-worthy lyrics (e.g. "Got a taste for the cherry / I just need to take a bite" and "Don't be scared...

This article is part of an on-going original series written by Caitlyn Jenner for WhoSay called "The Real Me," which explores issues and people in the Lgbt community. Caitlyn Jenner says that before she came out as a transgender woman, she had "totally isolated" herself from the trans community. Meeting others like her, she says, has been "an eye-opening experience." Touched by their harrowing but often inspiring stories of survival, Jenner, 65, partnered with WhoSay to release a series of editorials called "The Real Me" that shine a light on the issues and people in the Lgbt community.

Have you ever watched a film and thought, no one in real, every day life, actually looks like that? The beautiful, blonde, skinny female with the big boobs or the hunky, tanned sex god are what film directors believe sell movies. But it’s the underdog in a whole host of films that have really stood their ground, made a statement, and won over the hearts of their audience.
Have you ever left the cinema with the feeling that only the prettiest girls get the hot guys or you have to be a world class sports man to even be able to talk to the head cheerleader?
Luckily enough, for those of you who prefer to see the underdog come out on top, there are some films out there that said it’s Ok to be different, it’s Ok to be fat, or be a fish, or be...

Admittedly, I am not a PC gamer. That said, you don’t have to be a gamer at all let alone a PC gamer to recognise that the original prototype of Valve’s console-reminiscent controller for Steam looked like an unorthodox mess. I mean, the thing makes the good ol’ N64 torture device of a controller look like a paradise for your hands.
Easily the most glaring oddity regarding the controller was the fact that it had no analog sticks, but rather two track-pads that will apparently double as the standard thumbsticks you would find on, well, every other normal controller in existence. Being different is admirable and all, but the purpose is lost when the differences make no sense.
Today though, it appears as if Valve has regained some of their sanity, as new images of the controller, complete with one analog stick, have surfaced. Honestly, the controller still...

Philip Seymour Hoffman has built a respectable acting career over the past few years, picking up one awesome role after another. Besides being the man who will play the key part of Plutarch Heavensbee in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," he also happens to be an Academy Award winner, accepting a golden trophy in 2005 for his role in "Capote." With his fourth Oscar nomination this year for his masterful performance in, well, "The Master," the accolades keep raking in for one of Hollywood's finest talents.
Way before Hoffman was being recognized for his work, though, he appeared in a little-known zombie comedy (or "zom com," as we call them now) bullying students and wreaking havoc in his high school hallways. AfterElton readers know what's Hot in Hollywood. We're a community of voracious yet discerning pop culture consumers, so when it comes to TV, movies, web series and celebrities... tourniquet be damned, our finger is on the bloody pulse! This year in our first annual Hot in Hollywood poll our readers cast over 800,000 votes (yes, you read that correctly) crowning winners in 21 different categories, everything from Favorite Movie Beefcake to Guilty TV Pleasure to Child Actor We Don't Hate.
There were some tight races (Favorite Web Series, Favorite TV Beefcake and Greatest TV Villain) and a couple gimmes (Teen Wolf obviously had a lock on Favorite TV Sidekick), but the big surprise was how evenly distributed the love was. No single TV or film project took home more than one or two awards.
All in all, it was an impressive launch for the first annual Hot in Hollywood Awards, and our...

Castle and Beckett had their hands full on "After Hours," as the couple ran for its life. But were they running from a mob enforcer or the calamitous meeting between their parents?
Our Round Table team of TV Fanatic staffers Carla Day, Jim Garner, and Christine Orlando are joined here by Castle fans Jenn and Jennifer from The 12th Fan Forum as they decide who was to blame for the dinner disaster and whether Castle and Beckett have what it takes to make Always a reality...

What was your favorite scene?
Carla: When the cop pointed out that Castle and Beckett could take the cab ... that was right there. A hilarious end to their crazy game of hide and seek, while trying to get out of the neighborhood.
Jim: Rick on the phone with the girl whose phone they had. Thought it was interesting she was more worried about...

Herman’s House
Directed by Angad Singh Bhalla
Canada, 2012
Today is April 24th 2012. Last week marked the 40th anniversary of Herman Wallace’s initiation to a punitive epoch in solitary confinement. This commemoration is made even more lamentable when we learn that he’s been there ever since.
In a documentary shot over five years, Toronto filmmaker, Angad Singh Bhalla, tells the story of Jackie Sumell, an American artist looking to give Wallace a small semblance of life and humanity. At times an intricate political statement and at others a torrid character study, Herman’s House is a contemplative look into the searing brutality of the American justice system, as well as the seemingly altruistic compassion of strangers.
In 1972, a 25-year old Wallace was already repaying his 25-year debt to society for a bank robbery, when he was accused, and convicted, of murdering Brent Miller, a 23-year old Angola Prison guard.

We always try to be nice here at Pop Culture Passionistas. But we admit, we didn’t really get Ames on The Bachelorette. Sure the most recently eliminated contestant was smart and well traveled, but anyone could tell there was no chemistry between the portfolio manager from New York and the dentist from Maine. We're not saying Ames isn’t a catch for some lucky girl, just not for Ashley. But in a recent conference call interview, we discovered that Ames was ready to get down on one knee and pop the question — after just a few less-than-passionate kisses. Here's what Ames had to say about that along with nine other things we think you'll find fascinating.
On Being Different
"I really didn't know I was different, well, frankly, until it was too late. And I guess if I am different, whatever it is didn't really work.

The Planet is a column dedicated to the world of the DC Universe. A way to discuss the interesting tidbits of the comics to film. We will discuss anything from Green Lantern, Superman and Batman to the more obscure films like Vertigo projects, Wildstorm and others.
It appears to me the polarization of Superman fandom, nerds, geeks and comic book movie aficionados has created a flux. All the news cycling about the Chris Nolan produced and conceived storyline for the Zack Snyder directed Superman film seems to hint at a film that is merely harboring a combination of Richard Donner’s, Superman I and Superman II. Even more interesting is that Nolan has been on public record previous to his attachment to Superman, during his Batman Begins/Dark Knight press tours saying Donner’s approach to Superman in 1978 was admirable and showed the realistic approach a comic book character could have,...

Gh's Reeves and Burton: Soap stars share musical side project
"(Scott) was on the road 250 days a year making little money and grinding it out like so many people in Nashville do," Burton says. "But the great thing about being on General Hospital is that we have a built-in fan base. It's the best of both worlds — we can actually go, make some money, have some fun, show our appreciation to the fans and then go home."
Preview: James Franco back on General Hospital
Franco shows up on Friday to remind Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that he’s still around.
James Franco and Anne Hathaway in Oscar boot camp
In their latest Oscar promos, James Franco dodges mannequins as he "attempts to break the record for the Oscar run," notes an announcer.
Gh's Bradford Anderson and wife expecting a baby
Anderson announced on Twitter that he and his wife Kiera are expecting.

Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez discusses life, love, loss, body issues and sexuality as she graces the March cover of Latina magazine, which hits newsstands next week.
In her first in-depth interview in years, the Mexican-American actress opens up about ...
Battling depression: At one point, Ramirez says, she was feeling so down, she could barely muster up the energy to get out of bed and go to the set of Grey’s Anatomy.
“Somehow I managed to do it, but it wasn’t pretty. There were days that I would show up to work and come out the side of my face to people who didn’t deserve it.”
Body issues: “There’s a whole list of things you could worry about. Are you skinny enough? Talented enough? In all kinds of ways, I used to be really hard on myself.”
Being different: “I’ve never been very cookie cutter.

We continue our examination of the business book The 4-Hour Workweek with an interview of author Tim Ferriss. What inspired the book, and why did he follow that up with a book on fitness and diet?
What was the impetus for you to write 4-Hour Workweek?
It was based on a guest lecture I have given at Princeton University since 2003 in "High-Tech Entrepreneurship," and my own experience of extricating myself from a self-made prison of a start-up. In the middle was a global walk-about that led to the complete automation of my own business, as well as odd adventures around the world: tango, philosophical epiphanies, etc. The catalyst was having a long-term relationship end in 2004 because of my workaholic schedule.
Why do you think the book was so successful and resonated with the business world in the way that it did?
It doesn't force people to choose between being Jack Welch or being Gandhi,...

Tolerance and equality are rights that people should be afforded without question. Louis Van Amstel is known on the ballroom floor as a fierce competitor, respected professional and skillful teacher. He is a three-time world champion ballroom dancer, Emmy-nominated choreographer, “Dancing With The Stars” pro dancer since its inception and fearless leader in a campaign called NOH8 (No Hate). This campaign stemmed from California’s Proposition 8 ballot measure that called for the ban on marriage of same-sex couples. Celebrity photographer Adam Bouska took to his lens to photograph subjects with the NOH8 scribe on their faces. The face as a perfect canvas, the campaign now has over 5,500 photographs of every day people to celebrities displaying their ‘silent protest.’ Louis believes that the NOH8 Campaign is so much more than just about the marriage rights of couples whether they are of the same sex or not. Louis said, “I started thinking...

"Who wants to live in New York? Who wants the worry, the noise, the dirt, the heat? Who wants the garbage cans clanging in the street? Suddenly, I do!"—Stephen Sondheim, "Opening Doors" (from "Merrily We Roll Along")Whenever show folks address the subject of moving to New York, there's a tendency to emphasize the negatives, the challenges, the warnings. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know New York is expensive, competitive, and can really take it out of you; that only a naive and foolish actor makes the move expecting to earn a living; and that the transition—adjusting to the constant schlepping, the crowds, the weather—can be notoriously hard. But there's another side to the story, a side that emphasizes the adventure, the excitement, and the love affair that stage actors have with the city that is, inarguably, our mecca, a beacon that draws us from all over the world.

Jason Schwartzman has been on a role recently with great reviews in some great projects – Funny People, Bored To Death and now, Wes Anderson’s new film, The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
In this exclusive interview, he talks about playing a 12 year old fox, working with Bill Murray, George Clooney and Meryl Streep and his favorite scene in the film (which totally make me want to see it even more).
If you get a chance, you should listen to the audio interview. There is so much more he said that I haven’t included in the transcript. Just for the way he talks and goes off the cuff is worth the listen.
Jason Schwartzman: This is really exciting. This is really exciting for me. You know, in this industry, you get to experience so many amazing things that you would never get to do otherwise. Like just 20 minutes ago I...
