But there’s one movie which despite its lackluster performance at the box office is considered a spooky season cult classic, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman’s iconic Practical Magic. However, its failure to achieve big numbers at the box office and positive reviews from movie critics might’ve been caused by a small accident involving an actual witch.

As the final stretch of October sets in, there is still plenty of time to catch favorite flicks, spooky, witchy, scary or cozy in the season of pumpkins, monsters and more. Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween has several classic films airing all month long such as Casper (1995), Arachnophobia, Goosebumps, Edward Scissorhands, etc.

Four episodes into Agatha All Along, the primary reason it exists is clear: because Kathryn Hahn is simply too deliciously devious and charismatic in this role to not be unleashed on a bigger scale.

We find Agatha trapped in Wanda’s spell — but where the Scarlet Witch played out her narrative via sitcoms, Agatha is envisioning herself as a Mare Of Easttown-esque detective in a Scandi-inspired crime drama. Producer Denise Di Novi is aware of this trend and wants to ensure fans that they don't intend to let that happen with the recently announced Practical Magic sequel.

Good news for fans of the 1998 movie “Practical Magic” – a sequel is in the works! The producers have just announced that they’re adapting the 2021 novel “The Book of Magic” by Alice Hoffman into the new film. This has lots of folks excited to return to the magical world of the Owens family.

Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are set to reprise their roles as sisters Gillian and Sally Owens. The original movie about the sisters battling evil forces has kept a loyal following over 25 years. Nicole Kidman is ready for more “Practical Magic.” On the red carpet for her new Netflix movie “A Family Affair,” the Oscar winner confirmed to Variety’s Marc Malkin that she is planning to star in the sequel to the 1998 favorite opposite her returning co-star Sandra Bullock. When asked what the storyline for the sequel will be, Kidman said, “You have to ask Sandy.”

“We’ve been circling it for a while, but you know it’s still in [the early stages],” Kidman added.

As previously reported, Warner Bros. announced that a “Practical Magic” follow-up is in the works earlier this month. Kidman and Bullock are set to also produce the project as well.
