At the time this film was produced, Annette had been selling a signature line of collectible teddy bears on QVC for several years. Some of her bears can seen in the closing scenes with the real Annette.

Goofs
At the wedding in the final scene, no bridesmaids or flower girls at the altar can be seen. But once Gina approaches the altar, the bridesmaids and flower girls suddenly appear.

Entertaining but flawed

This movie was a great way to get some understanding of someone who seems to have been famous forever. It's fun and keeps moving, but at times it was hard to keep track of the passage of time in the film. It didn't seem clear how much time was passing from scene to scene and, before I knew it, it was 1987.
