A one night stand becomes a home invasion nightmare in the BET+ original thriller One Night Stay, which will be debuting on BET’s streaming service on Thursday, January 4.

In the film from director Rick S. Mordecon, “Obsessive Jessica (Halley) refuses to be discarded after a one-night stand gone wrong. beabadoobee is back with “A Night to Remember,” a sensual duet with Laufey. Stream the single below.
Built around a sultry bossa nova beat with a warm acoustic guitar and silky strings to boot, “A Night to Remember” gives space for both singers to lay down smooth, sensual vocals paying homage to a memorable evening “underneath the sheets.” Speaking about the song, both artists stated that they wanted to make something “a bit more sexy” than their usual output.
“I’ve been writing with a lot of different rhythms recently, also with strings and nods to more classical sounds,” beabadoobee said in a statement. “Laufey is a great fit for this sound and we had started hanging out in London, so we got in the studio together to work on music and try ideas with my producer Jacob. We also hung in NY on my tour and started becoming closer friends.

Estelle Harris, who played George Costanza’s (Jason Alexander) mother Estelle on the iconic NBC sitcom Seinfeld, died Saturday evening of natural causes in Palm Desert, California, just weeks before her 94th birthday.
“It is with the greatest remorse and sadness to announce that Estelle Harris has passed on this evening at 6:25pm,” her son Glen Harris, who held her as she drew her final breath, told Deadline. “Her kindness, passion, sensitivity, humor, empathy and love were practically unrivaled, and she will be terribly missed by all those who knew her.”
Born Estelle Nussbaum in New York City on April 22, 1928, Harris appeared on 27 episodes of Seinfeld between 1992 and 1998. (The character had been named Estelle before she landed the part.) She began pursuing acting at assorted amateur community theaters while raising her children, and went on to find incredible success both on stage and on screen, also featuring in such series as Futurama,...

John Paragon, an actor, director and writer most familiar from his disembodied, teal-faced role of Jambi the Genie on Paul Reubens’ Pee-wee’s Playhouse, died April 3 in Palm Springs of unknown causes. He was 66.
Paragon’s death, only recently made public, was confirmed to Deadline by the Riverside County Coroner.
In addition to his work with frequent collaborator Reubens — he also voiced Pterri the Pterodactyl on Playhouse — Paragon is remembered by Seinfeld fans as Cedric, half of the couple Bob and Cedric who appeared occasionally to browbeat Michael Richards’ Kramer. In the famous episode “The Soup Nazi,” Paragon and actor Yul Vazquez, as Bob, stole an armoire that Kramer was guarding for Elaine (Julia-Louis Dreyfus).
Paragon was, like Reubens, a member of the Los Angeles comedy troupe the Groundlings, and contributed to the writing of early stage performances featuring the Pee-wee Herman character. The Jambi character carried over from the...

The two-time Grammy Award winner is giving music (and life) lessons through MasterClass, which has brought the creative processes of other notable artists such as screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, actors Kevin Spacey and Dustin Hoffman, and author James Patterson to the masses.
“I’m doing this master class for anybody who is interested in getting into the music business,” McEntire says in the video. “We’re going to be talking about how to sing, what to do while you’re on stage, how to pick out a song.

If you are an old school fan of Ecw there are certain factions and stars that tend to stand out. For me the Dudley Boyz were one such faction. In Ecw, WWE, and beyond they created a pathway to destruction that has made them one of the best tag teams in history. Straight Outta Dudleyville: The Legacy of the Dudley Boyz gives the WWE version of this history.
As is usual in these types of sets, we get a short documentary about Bubba Ray and D-Von looking at how they got into wrestling, all the way up to their return to the WWE. The documentary is fun, and even gives part of the history that some fans may be unaware of. While the documentary may feel a little short, it pays respect not only to their Ecw years, but even dares to mention Bubba’s success in Tna.

Standing there adorned in his cape and crown, the 1995 King Of The Ring winner soaked up boos from the World Wrestling Federation’s fans. ‘King’ Mabel had been crowned, defeating the likes of The Undertaker and Savio Vega on his way to becoming only the third ‘King’ in the history of the event on pay-per-view. There was only one major problem, fans weren’t booing because they detested Mabel as a top heel, they were jeering because they hated the idea of him being in main events.
People recoiled instantly at the mere thought of seeing Mabel vs. Diesel at that year’s SummerSlam. Previous King Of The Ring winners like Bret Hart and Owen Hart had seemed deserved, due to their incredible skill inside the ring. Mabel was simply an extremely large man, a physical attribute Vince McMahon seemed to think would be enough to explain why he was headlining.

There was a time when monthly PPVs had a surefire surprise in store for fans: a new stage set.
From water–spray screens (Rumble ’03) and fire-breathing dragons (Nyr ’07) to swinging scythes (Backlash ’02) and ruddy great thrones (Kotr ’01), WWE knew how to build brilliant entrance backdrops.
Sure, they weren’t all great. Some were forgettable (No Mercy ’00), some were weird (Rumble ’07), and some flew in the face of everything they stood for (One Night Stand ’08).
But the bespoke TitanTron surrounds and arena sets were there to do a whole lot more than look pretty. Unique staging brought concrete character to PPV events in the biggest way possible. Gimmicks they might have been, but, by its nature, WWE survives on just such gimmicks, relying on event theming to drive storylines, hype Sunday night brawls and get fans on board.

It’s no secret that WWE has had its fair share of missed opportunities — some their fault, some not their fault. There have been many entirely possible possibilities that WWE didn’t pull the trigger on when they had the chance and it leaves fans constantly wondering ‘what if.’ The WWE is currently in a situation where they could have capitalized on Seth Rollins’ injury and bring fresh/returning faces to the forefront in the now void WWE World Heavyweight title picture. Looks like the recipe for another missed opportunity, but I’ll save that for another time. Since it’s still too early to tell whether this current situation is another flop, I figured we can go back in time to the moments when WWE really dropped the ball.
John Cena vs. The Undertaker (Before the streak ended)
This scenario was touched on earlier this month and it’s possibly the biggest PG-era miss.

The tag team scene is experiencing a bit of a renaissance as of late, and one of the key contributing factors to that has been the return of The Dudley Boyz. The massively popular duo has been a shot in the arm for the stagnant division, and their reemergence garnered one of the biggest crowd pops in recent history.
Having seasoned veterans to work with will be a big plus for the relatively inexperienced teams, and Bubba Ray and D-Von have never been shy about sharing their opinions and taking the lead when it comes to putting together matches. Whether or not their return ends up being a long term thing remains to be seen, but as for now we can look forward to at the very least a few months of getting the tables.

Canadian dubstep duo Zeds Dead made a brief, regrettable departure from the saw waves and deep bass frequencies that solidified them as one of the scene’s greats several years ago, but their latest material sees them return to their iconic sound. This week, the duo has released “One Time,” an instant trap classic with verses by American rapper Murs, alongside a handful of other announcements.
And indeed, “One Time” captures the mystique of yesteryear’s dubstep anthems despite following the format of more recent trap songs. Murs’ lurid verses make the track sparkle with suggestive imagery while effervescent synths build up to an incendiary drop. The duo clearly pulled out all the stops while putting together this arrangement, which hails back to an era during which massive bass drops ruled the festival circuit.

At One Night Stand 2006, Rob Van Dam cashed in his Money In The Bank contract to defeat John Cena for the WWE Championship. It, and its 2005 predecessor, sparked a reinvigorated interest in Extreme Championship Wrestling, something Vince McMahon was clearly keen to cash-in on.
Following on from the huge success of the event, the WWE decided to bring back the still-beloved Ecw name as a third brand alongside Raw and Smackdown’s weekly shows. It was billed as a hard-hitting, extreme alternative to the company’s usual sports entertainment style, bringing back some old faces from Paul Heyman’s game-changing Philadelphia promotion alongside hot new stars.
It was a good idea in theory. In practice, however, the whole thing is commonly regarded as an abject failure. It was a far cry from the original Ecw, featuring watered-down “violence”, disastrous booking decisions, and some of the worst in-ring action in WWE history.

Sunny Leone may have rightly acquired the title of 'Queen of seduction', but this sexy lass, who can drive many men crazy, feels that she is not any star.
She took to a micro-blogging site and shared her feelings, "You start to see how people see you differently then before because they think your a star. I'm no star! Just a girl who wants to work"
"As time goes I see change in people around me and how I have changed. I hope my friends would tell me if I was a brat don't think I am yet lol" Sunny added.
Sunny Leone has as many as five films lined up. She will soon be seen in Ek Paheli Leela, Mastizaade, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, Tina and Lolo and One Night Stand.

Miles Teller chats about the upcoming reboot of Fantastic Four - and admits he's open to an X-Men crossover...
Miles Teller has already appeared in two different films released into UK cinemas this year. Two Night Stand didn't make much of a splash, yet the wonderful Whiplash very much did. Furthermore, he also appears in Insurgent, the new Divergent movie, which arrives at the end of the week.
Whilst on promotional duties for Insurgent though, he's been quizzed about the highest profile of his 2015 releases, the reboot of the Fantastic Four. In the movie, he plays Mr Fantastic/Reed Richards, and chatting to MTV he said that "we were looking to kind of put our stamp on it. We were looking to pay respect to the history of the characters but to bring them up to date".
He added that he was keen for the film's humour to make the final cut.

The World Championship Wrestling brand name is still something that WWE likes to promote even though the company died 14 years ago. In the buildup to Triple H’s confrontation with Sting, Hunter loves to mention that Sting was the main guy in WCW and that Sting avoided going to WWE because he was scared of Hunter. It’s a decent selling point for what will be a big match. It’s also another example of WWE trying to make money off the WCW name.
There have been numerous WWE DVDs produced in the last 14 years featuring WCW performers. Whether it’s tribute DVDs about the New World Order, Goldberg, Sting, Ric Flair or compilations about the very best of Monday Nitro, WWE has tried to milk WCW for all its worth. One of the big selling points of WWE Network was the “Monday Night War” documentary series that featured the Raw vs.

It is a known fact that Rana Daggubati had shot for a staggering 120 days when it came to canning a war sequence of biggest film ever coming out from South - Baahubali. However, if one thought that the actor is done with the film's shoot then that is far from being true. In fact, he would be back on location for the Tamil, Telugu, Hindi trilingual which has over 100 days of shoot still remaining to be canned. "Baahubali is inarguably the most massive film ever to be made not just in South but in India as well. Director S. S. Rajamouli is making a magnum opus here and has already given three years to the film," informs our source, "After Sudeep starrer Eega (2012), he has been concentrating entirely on Baahubali which features Prabhas, Rana, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in principle roles. When we say Sunny Leone and One Night Stand, in a sentence it is bound to cause curiosity. By the looks of it, debutant director Jasmine D’Souza has certainly achieved that. The film starring Tanuj and Sunny Leone which is yet to get on the floor has been the talk of the town already.
The entire cast and crew, sans Sunny for the moment, has reached Thailand and is set to start commence the shoot.
Apparently the cast has had such rigorous rehearsals prior to the filming that they are completely set to the shoot, and once Sunny reaches Bangkok on the 23rd, there’ll be nothing stopping the temperatures from soaring.

We’re back with another round-up of news, this time focusing on the return of David Lynch’s seminal series, Twin Peaks, the upcoming Game of Thrones IMAX screenings, and when you can expect to see The Babadook haunt home media.
With Twin Peaks returning to television in nine all-new episodes in 2016 (25 years after it last aired), fans have been wondering which actors will come back. Series co-writer/director David Lynch and Showtime answered one big question by revealing that Kyle MacLachlan will once again step into the shoes of FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper. Lynch even tweeted a new photo of MacLachlan as Agent Cooper holding a “damn fine” cup of coffee. Here’s the official press release (via Collider) and photo (via David Lynch):

Billy Elliot, André Rieu and Monty Python are leading the charge for the growth of event cinema.
Overpowering the sound of ballet shoes hitting the stage might have been the sound of jaws hitting the floor. On the morning of September 30, the UK industry awoke to the news Universal’s Billy Elliot The Musical - Live was top of the UK box office.
A theatrical showing of a West End musical had beaten the likes of Denzel Washington’s latest action title The Equalizer.
The fact a live broadcast of a musical that opened nine years ago led the box office on $3.1m (£1.9m) is something that might have shocked industry players even five years ago; a decade ago the idea would have been laughed at.
Now, event cinema’s first weekend leading the UK box office is confirmation of what a major force alternative content has become (both creatively and financially) within the film industry.

Sunny Leone has certainly staked her claim in Bollywood. After her much talked about debut in Jism 2, the porn star turned actress has been on a signing spree. While on one hand she is currently working on Tina & Lolo and Mastizaade, we hear that Sunny Leone has signed yet another film. News is that Sunny Leone will soon be seen romancing Rana Daggubati in a film titled One Night Stand, that will be directed by debutante Jasmine D'Souza, who incidentally is the wife of Blue and Boss director Anthony D'Souza. Besides Sunny and Rana, it is learnt that One Night Stand will also feature one more known actress. While that is said to be an intense drama will revolve around Sunny playing a girl next door whose life goes into a spin after meeting Rana's character. Penned by Bhavani Iyer, the film is expected to go on floors in...

When a wrestler gets injured in WWE, the old saying “the show must go on” comes into play. Many times a wrestler will be expected to get on with the job, suck up the pain and put forth the best match possible. Such is the talent of some wrestlers, they still actually manage to put on a first rate match-up even when injured. There’s been many examples of this over the years, top stars who were injured but unwilling to take time off. They end up working through the pain and pulling off unlikely classics.
We’ve witnessed men going into matches barely able to walk, yet still somehow producing the goods. Then you have the guys who get injured mid-match, they refuse to give up and somehow steal the show. Here we take a look at 10 wrestlers who had great matches when injured.

At one point of time in Hollywood, an equal argument could have been made that either Denzel Washington or Wesley Snipes was the predominant, African-American male actor in Tinseltown. Fast forward approximately 25 years later to present-day and it's jarring to think about the vastly different trajectories that Washington and Snipe's career's have taken. One has gone on to accumulate Golden Globe and Academy Award statues while the other became somewhat of an afterthought, wallowing in a string of direct-to-dvd action films. Nevertheless, after a three-year stint in prison for tax evasion, Snipes could be poised for a resurgence, thanks to Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables 3. And who is Snipes looking to as an example for how to rebuild a career? Why none other than his Us Marshals and One Night Stand co-star Robert Downey Jr. Said Snipes on the current superhero craze, "You know, if I would have understood...

A lot of successful WWE performers can trace their lineage through Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling. Rob Van Dam became WWE Champion (and Ecw Champion) in 2006. Tazz parlayed his wrestling character into a successful announcing career starting in 2002. The homicidal, genocidal, maniac that was Sabu played an important role in the re-launch of the Ecw brand beginning with 2006′s One Night Stand PPV (facing Rey Mysterio for his World Championship). To varying degrees, the Ecw experience helped shape the careers of many former WWE World Champions such as Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, Mick Foley, Eddie Guerrero and Steve Austin.
However, there’s the other group. Those are the many Ecw performers whose experience in the WWE was far less thrilling. While these wrestlers have mostly been relegated more to footnotes of WWE history we’ll take a moment to recall their time as superstars in the world’s biggest pro-wrestling company.

When Dave Bautista was last in WWE I was taking a partial hiatus from wrestling and so while I was aware of him, and the whole Evolution thing, I didn’t really pay much attention. So when he returned at the Royal Rumble back in January I didn’t share the enthusiasm of WWE universe, or at least their enthusiasm until he beat Roman Reigns to win the event and secure his shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania XXX.
As a result he struggled to get traction with the fans - even his heel turn wasn’t as stellar as I think both he and the WWE had hoped it would be - and thanks to a combination of his on screen character and the apparent whining nature of his tweets about not being revered as the returning Superstar that he thought he should be, I have to...

Extreme Rules has offered up several shocking results over the years, outcomes we never would have predicted. The event returns this weekend, with The Shield taking on Evolution in the main event. If history is anything to go off, anything could happen. If there has been one event over the years which has genuinely surprised us fans, it has been Extreme Rules.
That’s what has made the event so interesting since it first started in 2009, the knowledge that WWE likes to book some crazy results on the show. Surprise as much as ‘extreme’ has became a staple of the event.
The origins of Extreme Rules actually started out at the Ecw One Night Stand show. When that brand became defunct, WWE directly stated that the ‘Extreme Rules’ pay per view was a continuation of the hardcore event. As such, we get all the extreme gimmicks of an Ecw show,...

And befitting its subject matter, his latest grandiose provocation has been preceded by a prolonged foreplay-session of teaser trailers and titillating rumours. Now, for one night only, you can watch both halves of the movie back to back before it goes on release in two halves later this month. Despite being four hours long and sexually explicit, it's far from the sado-masochistic experience it sounds, with digressions into baroque music, fly fishing and dessert forks, and a steady procession of familiar faces including Uma Thurman, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell and Willem Dafoe. Afterwards, you'll be rewarded with a satellite Q&A, live from the Curzon Chelsea, in which three of the film's stars – Von Trier veteran Stellan Skarsgård and Britons Stacy Martin...

Whatever you may think of the controversial reboot of Extreme Championship Wrestling by the WWE, it was a bold idea to say the very least. Thanks to the enormous success of the One Night Stand PPV and a fiercely loyal and dedicated fanbase, the rebirth of this brand divided fans and caused quite a stir, much like the original Ecw did back in the day.
However, many loyalists were outraged at what they saw was a travesty of justice, an insult to the original concept and a watering down of a once beloved wrestling federation that inspired the Attitude Era. Eventually dubbing the new breed of extreme Wwecw, a name that eventually stuck with the masses and came to reflect how little this new brand actually had in common with its blood soaked predecessor.
However, regardless of whether you supported the rebirth of Ecw or were a devout extremist who...

3.12 The Wild Hunt
Hooray! This week saw a welcome return to form for our favourite fairytale-inspired detective show.
In the last episode before a month-long break – yeah, thanks Winter Olympics – we were treated to action, gore, romance, comedy and a “uh-ho” moment at the end that makes the four week wait until the next instalment more than a little frustrating.
More importantly, though, the writers attempted to cautiously edge some storylines out of the spot where they’ve been parked for weeks, and take them for a spin around the block.
First things first though – we have a Wesen wedding to look forward to as Rosalee accepted Monroe’s proposal of marriage! The lead up was charming, with a fancy dinner (Rosalee really scrubs...

Another mythological monster makes for a fun episode of Grimm. Here's Christine's review...
This review contains spoilers.
3.5 El Cucuy
The start of this week’s episode started with a warning to children to beware the Bogeyman, lest he snatches them from their beds and eats them.
But this is Grimm, where folklore often gets subverted. So in this case it was some bad guys terrorising a Hispanic neighbourhood which were targeted by a mythical Spanish creature – El Cucuy – who sought bloody vengeance for their crimes.
And the creature doesn’t so much sweep up its prey, but viciously rips their throats out.
It was an episode that concentrated on the mystery at hand, and played out with a sense of blood-splattered fun. The revelation of El Cucay’s identity may not have been a massive surprise, but it let Nick and Hank return to...

This week, on Grimm: Nick and Juliette have a heart-to-heart and El Cucuy comes a-calling
Grimm has had a lot of fun with folk tales and legends over the past three seasons, attributing the stuff of our childhood bedtime stories to various Wesen. This week they do something different, implying that the monster (ish) of the week may be something else entirely. It’s the first step the series has made towards branching out into other supernatural threats and mysteries and for the most part, it works. With the Portland Scoobies coming together into an increasingly cohesive and efficient unit (great to see Juliette fully onboard), throwing in new elements that aren’t in Nick’s ever-useful tomes makes sense and while the show doesn’t seem ready to...

Review Christine Horton 17 Nov 2013 - 20:10
With witty dialogue, character growth and a smart reflection of real life, this week's Grimm impresses Christine...

3.4 One Night Stand
In addition to the usual detective work and fighting bad guys, One Night Stand saw Grimm take some time to examine the complexity of relationships between males and females – of all species.
To begin with we were introduced to an unfamiliar species of Wesen called the Naiad, whose females resemble water nymphs, growing webbed skin on their hands and feet and gills on their necks. We learn that male Naiad are sterile, so young females are to forced to lure human males into the water to mate. This turns out to be a relatively easy task for the Naiad in this episode who entice two guys into the water with only bikinis and beer. Who knew?

Grimm, Season 3, Episode 4, “One Night Stand”
Written by Sean Calder
Directed by Steven DePaul
Airs Fridays at 9pm Est on NBC
This week, on Grimm: Rosalee moves in, Nick gets a clean bill of health, and Jake meets Ariel
While Grimm is rooted in fairy tales, this week’s episode is the first to seemingly take direct inspiration from a modern classic, The Little Mermaid. Usually the show takes a particular myth or folk tale as a jumping off point before going in a new direction, but “One Night Stand” is a break from this, providing direct parallels to several of the beloved film’s key elements. Elly, our main Nyad protagonist, loves Jake from afar and saves him from drowning, pulling him onto the land and resuscitating him. She stares lovingly at him as he blearily opens his eyes, not sure what he’s seeing, and then jumps...

“One Night Stand”
Written By: Sean Calder
Directed By: Steven Depaul
Original Airdate: 15 November 2013
In This Episode...
Two couples are hanging out around a bonfire on the beach. They are singing, laughing, drinking... typical twentysomething stuff. One couple, Dan and Anna, go for a swim. Sarah goes for more beer for her and Jake. Hiding behind the foliage, spying, is youngest sister Ellie, a deaf girl with a huge crush on Jake. She begs Sarah, “not that one,” Sarah dismisses her, marches back to the beach, jumps in the water, disrobes, and lures Jake out for a little aquatic sexytime. He is all too eager to join her. But things take a nasty turn when scaly, fishy hands (yes, hands) grabs the boys and drag them under. Sarah and Anna swim away, but Ellie can’t let this happen to Jake. She save him, and as he starts to wake,...
