Compared to the films that shot up over the last 20 years with those "(insert word here) Movie" that have murdered parody films forever, this one wasn't all that bad. Sure, it could have used the likes of Leslie Neilson to spruce it up, but for the cast it has it hasn't done the atrocious job the other reviewers here said about it.
It does star a couple of nobodies, least that im familuer with, and they can get a tad annoying, but it was bareable to get through the whole film without being bored or cringed out. A few gags hit, a few miss, but name me a parody film that hits its shot every time? It does have a much stronger start that falls a bit flat in the middle but it does finds a bit better pace in the final act.
There are a few too many musical numbers for my liking, but they're not boring I guess. The film parodies a few films such as Forrest Gump, The Godfather... and ummm.... I forget. Hey, i didn't say this was a great spoof film, I'm just saying it's at least ok, and if spoof parody slapstick films are your thing, it's worth maybe one viewing, if you're curious? No, I'm not recommending it to anyone else as a must see, and it's no Mel Brooks or Zucker Abraham's Zucker quality of parody entertainment, but it's far better the likes of the two guys who had something to do with Scary Movie 1 and 2 and went on to just stupidly show visuals of two pop culture things standing side by side with no joke other than they're there next to each other in all those terrible parody films that have killed the genre.
