I think that Ellen Cleghorne! is funny, I have seen her take 'bits'on different shows as for this the network may not have given it the proper chance, but then again there are other talented people with a half hour and hour long show that haven't made the cut.. Chevy Chase(1993) Whoopi Goldberg (1992)
Norm McDonald(1999-2001) or at the very least even Jerry Springer. Well, forget that last one completely. (I do apologize)>> But I thought when she was on "Saturday Night Live" that she performed to the satisfaction of her (at that time) audience. But things changed and so did the climate of her humor. Truly in this day and age of competitive markets and that's in every field, you have to keep your 'edge' and not 'just settle' for whatever comes your way. I would encourage Ellen to keep at it and don't settle for 'less than' quality as so many have seemed to do over the years. I rated it '1' because I had to be honest with myself and everyone else. This show was truly a Cleghorne-clunker.
