Early in the movie, Auguste Bruner returns to his apartment from walking his dog, and his Jeep which is parked out front is parked one way. He goes upstairs, uses the phone and quickly returns downstairs to the Jeep which is now parked in the opposite direction.
When Auguste drops his books on the street and starts picking them up, some of the books he had already picked up reappear on the ground in the next shot.

At the end of the film, one of the main characters carries a dog on the ferry to England. At the time the film was made there was strict anti-rabies quarantine in force and the ferry operator would not have allowed a dog on board if it were not inside an appropriate container AND due to be collected by an approved quarantine kennel.
When Valentine runs over Rita, her collar indicates that her owner lives in the suburb of Carouge in Geneva, yet Valentine drives her to Cologny on the other side of town.
