A rather unimaginative title, it has to said, for a rather exceptional piece of porno. The porno market demands wall-to-wall sex (so they say) and the film delivers, but it manages to squeeze in some character development as well.

Most remarkable about the film is probably Jon Dough's performance, who shows that he not only can do the deed but actually has some acting talent and screen presence. Having said that: the lead actor, Gerry Pike, is so awful that it is easy for Dough to shine.

This is one of my favorite adult flicks. Who says they shouldn't spend a little money on adult films? Though the story line and plot are a little hokey, it's top notch for a triple x film. I want to add a few more Michael Ninn DVDs to my collection because I really enjoy his creativity and camera work. I think adult films deserve more artistic attention anyway, instead of just filming sex for its own sake. On another topic, I could probably do some research to find this out, but is it Deidre Holland who, while wearing the red leather leggings, gives the BJ, etc. to Jon Dough? I just found this gal to be striking and would like to find her in some other films.

This was one of the greatest sex films I have ever seen. The group scene between Diamond, Rain, Carerra, Diva, and Pyke was AWESOME. Definitely deserving of the award it won. Filthy, sexy, erotic.. Shot on film, as opposed to video, the quality is incredible and the the plot is minimal. Definitely a 10 when it comes to sex.

This would have to be one of my favorite adult films ever. As previously mentioned in other posts the soundtrack was very good, but obviously it was the scenes that were done well. Hell, it has been a few years since I've seen it but I still like to quote a line from Gerry Pike near the end of the film "I feel so dirty" with his thick accent. I still find it hilarious today. For me anyway, I am such a huge Asia Carrera fan that I'll pretty much give a thumbs up for most of her films that I've seen. (There have been the odd ones that just sucked) Its just a shame that adult stores remove so many older titles that I'm unable to watch it again. Oh well.

On this film there is a curious article by Josep Carles Lainez published in the Spanish cinema journal "Banda Aparte", 4 (February, 1996), pp. 53-47: "La inutil renuncia de lo amado: Sex (Michael Ninn, 1994)". He analyses the influence of Classic literature in Ninn's film and the extraordinary mixture of heterogeneus elements that we can find in "Sex".

Probably Ninn's best work to date-even though it's old. What makes this video so successful, and a cut above Ninn's other work, is the excellent soundtrack provided by the 'Ninn brothers' (I don't know if Michael is one of them or not) - the music has a strong 'Enigma-Principals of Lust' feel and gives the video a mood that makes the whole thing erotic. Of course it's beautifully shot as well, even if it doesn't make a lot sense plot-wise. Worth seeing.
