A great TV film about a boy in his best age that wishes to be a fisherman, but will his wishes be true? Great acting makes this movie great. If you like dramatic films, this is a film for you. The movie takes time in the ninties and how a young boy fights for his rights to be a fisherman. One of the better TV films.
This is the second time we have watched this Hallmark movie,it is the classic struggle of a father and a strong-willed determined son,and the ability to overcome their differences and still remain close. The life of a fisherman is shown in great detail, the struggles and reality of their work is accurately portrayed by strong characters and the common bond that they all share to survive and make a living for themselves and their families. The Nova Scotia location where this story takes place is beautifully filmed. Kudos to all who were involved in making this film.

A wonderfully photographed film set in the world of sea fishing. The performances are top-notch, especially that of Peter Facinelli, as the idealistic young man that wants to follow in the footsteps of his ancestors to become a fisherman, even though everyone around him tries to discourage this dream. Wonderful performances exude from everyone throughout this heart-warming tale.
