The co-founders of “Made in Chelsea” producers Monkey are stepping down after 23 years with the company.
Sources tell Variety that David Granger and Will Macdonald announced their decision to exit as creative directors of Monkey on Friday afternoon. It’s not yet clear why they’re leaving, but it’s believed they may set up another production shingle in the future.
Granger and Macdonald founded Monkey in 2000 and joined Universal International Studios in 2010 when the company was acquired by NBCUniversal. Since that period, Monkey has grown into a reality behemoth in the U.K., best known for the long-running unscripted show “Made in Chelsea” — now on Season 25 on digital channel E4 and also airing on Peacock in the U.S. — as well as “The Real Housewives of Cheshire,” which is on Season 16 for ITVBe.

It's the final entry in Wesley's top 100 Christmas TV episodes of all time list, numbers 20 to 1. Merry Christmas to all!

Since the medium’s infancy, viewers have enjoyed sharing holidays with their favourite television characters. We grow invested in our friends on screen over the years; spending Christmas with them is a rite of passage, a chance for us to share tradition from our world with the fictional ones we see on screen. Some shows embrace the season wholeheartedly, characters in good spirits and enjoying the trappings of the season; others skew a little darker, bringing the more oppressive, burdensome side of the holidays to life. Chris Evans has apparently picked his Top Gear presenting team.
The new main host of the show let slip the decision had been made when taking a call during Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning (October 15).
A listener asked why Evans hadn't replied to his application tape and the Tfi Friday host quipped: "It's not rocket science is it my friend. Obviously it wasn't good enough!
"But we did look at every single one of them and we called back a few people and we invited those people down to the Top Gear track at Dunsfold Aerodrome.
"We gave them full on proper scripted multi-camera auditions and there will be announcements pending."
He added of the new co-presenters' previous experience: "Some people may have done a bit of telly, but they are from these auditions.
"It's on the telly in May but we start filming next Wednesday."

If you were expecting some classic 1990s indie bands to launch Tfi Friday this week, you're going to be disappointed.
That being said, U2 and Take That - two bands who were around in the decade that Chris Evans's show is synonymous with - will perform on its full series premiere on Friday (October 16).
U2 made various appearances on the cult show in the past, and will play two songs during the live broadcast.
Evans said: "It wouldn't be the first episode of Tfi without one of the biggest bands in the world, if not the biggest.
"We're over the moon that we've got U2 on the show. They're coming in specially, flying straight from a show in Antwerp and straight back to Cologne, making the time just for us, and we certainly plan to make the most of it."

Many would argue that men still land the plum leading roles in film and television, but Stellan Skarsgård has revealed that he took on his latest role because he was envious of female co-stars.
Skarsgård told press including Digital Spy that the lead in BBC One's new drama River allows him to do what actresses do - expose their emotions on screen.

Top Gear will return to BBC Two in May 2016.
Chris Evans has signed a three-year contract to host two series of the revamped motoring show, each consisting of eight episodes.
Speaking to Pa, Evans hinted that the new-look Top Gear could be radically different from the old version, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
The three-presenter format could be ditched, because, as Evans has put it: "If there's three of you and you go and make a film together, suddenly you're doing what they did. Why would you do that? They were brilliant at it, [but] I'm not going to do that.
"They're the Three Stooges, they are the Bee Gees, they are that and I'm not, I'm me. I'm a solo artist at the moment, I'm on my own, so do I form a band or not?"

Has Chris Evans just revealed when Top Gear is likely to return to the BBC?
During an appearance at the Radio Festival in London on Tuesday (September 29), the broadcaster told delegates that "Top Gear is not on until May, that's seven months, three days and 18 hours [from now]".
When the BBC ended its relationship with Evans's predecessor Jeremy Clarkson, the corporation immediately confirmed plans to bring Top Gear back to screens in 2016.
However, the BBC has since told Digital Spy that it won't be confirming exact transmission dates for the show at the moment.
Evans's former Big Breakfast producer Lisa Clark has joined the all-new Top Gear crew, but the Radio 2 breakfast show host recently denied reports claiming Zoe Ball had a screen test for the show.
Clarkson and his former Top Gear co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May are gearing up to launch a new, big-budget motoring show on Amazon Prime.

The Chief Creative Officer of Channel 4 says the scheduling of Strictly Come Dancing against The X Factor is "aggressive" and something the BBC shouldn't be pursuing.

Chris Evans has revealed that he wanted Nick Grimshaw to host new episodes of Tfi Friday.
The presenter previously described the BBC Radio 1 DJ as "the future" of the Channel 4 show, but this was before Simon Cowell signed him up for The X Factor.
Evans told The Sun: "Unfortunately he has another contract I found out about in The Sun newspaper. He's exclusive with ITV, so it's very disappointing."
It should however be noted that Grimshaw has not signed an exclusive deal for The X Factor, as he will remain on BBC Radio 1.
"He will always be welcome on the show, though," he added.
After Grimshaw signed up for The X Factor, Evans decided to stay on as presenter of Tfi Friday, and says he is "very excited" to be fronting the next eight shows.
Channel 4 confirmed the comeback for the show after the success of this month's one-off special.

Nick Grimshaw was in talks to replace Chris Evans as the host of the return of 'Tfi Friday' until Simon Cowell nabbed him for 'The X Factor'. Chris - who previously described the 30-year-old BBC Radio 1 presenter as the ''future of 'Tfi Friday''' - has revealed he's ''disappointed'' that Grimmy is now set to be a judge on the ITV talent show, as it meant he was forced to re-hire himself for the new series of the Channel 4 cult chat show. Ian Morris is a journalist who worked on Top Gear from 2003-2006. With Chris Evans confirmed as the show's new host, here's his take on the future of the BBC's global car phenomenon.
Chris Evans is a petrolhead, with a car collection worth many, many millions of pounds, including the most expensive car ever sold in Britain: a £12 million Ferrari 250 Gto, of which only 36 were ever built.
But what the BBC will no doubt be hoping is that Evans can not just replace former presenter Jeremy Clarkson in the car-loving department but also executive producer Andy Wilman, too, bringing some of those ideas that made his early career on shows like Tfi Friday and Don't Forget Your Toothbrush such a revelation on British TV.

New Top Gear host Chris Evans has suggested that Jeremy Clarkson could have eventually returned to the programme.
Speaking on The One Show, Evans said that maybe Clarkson could have come back to the BBC motoring show "after a year", had James May and Richard Hammond not turned down a deal to return.
Evans has signed a three-year deal to host Top Gear, and he will be holding open auditions for potential co-hosts who are passionate about cars, saying that they can be "male [or] female, young or old - it doesn't matter".
He told his Radio 2 listeners this morning that there will "definitely be a female presence on the show", but clarified comments he made yesterday in which he appeared to indicate that one of his co-hosts would be female.

The BBC has finally made an official announcement regarding the future of Top Gear, with DJ Chris Evans becoming the show's new lead host.
Following Jeremy Clarkson's departure, it also looks as if James May and Richard Hammond will not be returning, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.
Evans has said that a female co-host will "definitely" be joining him, but who is in line for one of the biggest TV shows in the world? Here's a list of potential options tipped by bookmakers and fans alike.

Chris Evans has said that his new-look Top Gear will "definitely" feature a female co-host.
The presenter told BBC Radio 5 Live's Nicky Campbell that installing a female host was one of the changes he wanted to make to the BBC Two series.
When asked if a female host may join him, he said: "Absolutely. But not for the sake of it. I can confirm that definitely 100%."
Jodie Kidd, Clare Balding and Suzi Perry have been linked to the series in recent months, with Perry being spotted at the Tfi Friday bar on Friday night (June 12).

The majority of Digital Spy readers have said they wouldn't like to see Nick Grimshaw join The X Factor's judging panel.
Out of 15,267 readers who voted in our poll, 75.05% said they'd rather the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show DJ didn't end up on the ITV Saturday night show.
Only 24.95% of voters thought Grimshaw's addition to the panel would be a positive thing.
New X Factor co-host Caroline Flack said last month that she thought the presenter would be a "very good judge", with Olly Murs agreeing.
"I'm not going to say if he is [a judge], Grimmy, but I think he'd make a very good judge," Flack said. "I think he would be very, very good at that, if he was."
It's not just X Factor that Grimshaw's name is linked to either, with Tfi Friday host Chris Evans recently naming the DJ as a potential successor during the show's one-off revival.

Jeremy Clarkson made his return to television tonight (June 12) alongside Chris Evans on the revival of Tfi Friday.
Clarkson appeared in a brief video teaching Evans how to properly introduce a car, poking fun at rumours about the future of Top Gear.
After demonstrating the proper Top Gear enunciation, Clarkson deadpanned: "You're not going to get my old job."
"Don't want it. I ruled myself out," Evans argued, prompting an annoyed Clarkson to retort: "You haven't been asked."
Lewis Hamilton then introduced a video parody of Evans's mother taking the slowest lap ever around the Top Gear track.
Evans fuelled rumours that he could replace Clarkson by revealing that he would be making a "secret Top Gear film".

And if all of that wasn't enough, Evans was joined by music superstars such as The Who's Roger Daltrey, Rudimental, Blur, Liam Gallagher, Years & Years and potty-mouth Shaun Ryder.
Now that all of the fun's over for the time being, should Tfi Friday continue with a full series or is it best to leave it in the past?

Tfi Friday took extraordinary measures in ending Channel 4's live ban on Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder tonight (June 12).
Ryder's two foul-mouthed interviews with Chris Evans during Tfi Friday's original run were famously responsible for it going to a taped format.

Evans made light of his past with the musician by introducing Ryder on Channel 4's revival as being the reason "why Tfi Friday could never ever, ever be live".
Ryder then emerged with a piece of tape over his mouth, leading to a bit where he let loose with some indecipherable cursing.

There's no doubt that Tom Daley is an Olympian and a former world champion diver, but is he a freak or unique?
Daley dropped by Chris Evans's star-studded revival of Tfi Friday tonight to reveal that he was rejected as a child when he applied to appear on the series.
10 classic Tfi Friday moments, from Shaun Ryder swearing to Freak or Unique
The diver wanted to perform his 'Mexican wave' trick while contorting his stomach to look pregnant - but was sadly turned down by Tfi Friday as a young chap.
Forget the Olympics - Tom finally got to achieve his dream of grossing out Chris Evans and a Channel 4 studio audience by finally taking part in the beloved 'Freak or Unique' segment.
So which one was he - a freak or unique? Your opinion matters!

In 1996, Chris Evans and Danny Baker launched a show that would become as synonymous with 1990s as the Spice Girls and Eric Cantona.
Tfi Friday was the perfect show of its time, airing every Friday evening on Channel 4 and featuring as much Britpop and silly anarchic humour as you could ask for.
Ahead of its one-off comeback show this Friday (June 12), Digital Spy has collected just some of the most memorable and hilarious moments from its five years on air.
1. Shaun Ryder says "f**k" on live TV. In front of your mum.
Pity Chris Evans. With a mouth dodgier than the bizarre moustache he was sporting at the time, it was always going to be something of a liability bringing indie music's chief party-monster Shaun Ryder onto a family show that aired at just 6pm.
"If you don't swear tonight, I'll give you my shoes!" promised Evans, only...

Let the farewell party begin – the BBC has released a preview of the final Top Gear footage to feature Jeremy Clarkson.
Clarkson made worldwide headlines earlier this year when the BBC announced that it would not renew his contract, following a suspension for a confrontation with a producer.
Three men (and The Stig). Two films. One more episode.

Jeremy Clarkson's untimely departure from Top Gear came before all of the footage he'd filmed had been transmitted.
BBC Two offered the first glimpse of this unseen footage today, along with the announcement that it will comprise a special episode bidding farewell to Clarkson.
"Three men (and The Stig). Two films. One more episode. #TopGear. Coming soon," BBC Two tweeted today (June 8).

Jeremy Clarkson is expected to make his TV comeback on Tfi Friday later this week.
The former Top Gear host will appear alongside Chris Evans in Channel 4's one-off anniversary special on Friday (June 12), according to the Guardian.
Over the weekend, Evans sparked rumours that he may replace Clarkson on the BBC Two motoring show, after he revealed that he was making a "secret Top Gear film".
However, the film in question is actually thought to be part of a skit to be included in Tfi Friday later this week.
The BBC confirmed that Evans was not making any Top Gear film for the corporation.
Evans previously said on Sunday Brunch: "Not started yet, but we are doing a secret Top Gear film on Tuesday.
"We're making a Top Gear - we're doing a Top Gear sequence with an independent production company and we're going to see how it goes.

He's categorically denied presenting Top Gear more than once, but Chris Evans has now revealed he's making a 'secret Top Gear film'.
The broadcaster has been heavily linked with the vacant Top Gear position since Jeremy Clarkson was dismissed in March.
When asked on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch today (June 7) whether he'd started presenting Top Gear, Evans said: ''Not started yet, but we are doing a secret Top Gear film on Tuesday.''
He added: "…nobody knows where it's going to be but we're going to make one and see how it goes.
''We're making a Top Gear - we're doing a Top Gear sequence with an independent production company and we're going to see how it goes.''
Evans previously tweeted about Top Gear, saying he would 'never' present the BBC motoring show.
Re @SkyNews Top Gear debate. I can categorically say I am not and will Never be running for office.

Shaun Ryder is set to make an unlikely comeback to Channel 4's Tfi Friday when the programme returns next week.
The Happy Mondays singer made a memorable sweary appearance on the series back in the 1990s, in which his language was so bad it forced Chris Evans to pre-record all future shows.
According to The Sun, Evans himself had to convince concerned Channel 4 bosses of the booking, and overturned a ban on Ryder appearing on the station.
The singer is the latest name to be added to the special 20th anniversary show, joining the likes of fellow '90s musicians Liam Gallagher and Blur.
Mani from the Stone Roses and Roger Daltrey will also appear.
The return of Tfi Friday (live that is, so be warned) airs on Friday, June 12 at 9pm on Channel 4. Watch a promo below:...

Blur, Liam Gallagher and Years & Years are just some of the guests lined up for next month's Tfi Friday special.
The one off episode to celebrate the show's 20 year anniversary will also feature appearances by Roger Daltrey, Mani, Ian Broudie, Zak Starkey and Rudimental.
Morning Y'All. Just confirmed for TFi Friday, Roger Daltry, Mani, Ian Broudie, Zac Starkey, Rudimental, Blur, Years & Years, Liam Gallagher.

Things shouldn't get too awkward between former rivals Blur and Liam Gallagher, after the latter shared his love for the band's new material on Twitter earlier this month.
The special will include one or two blasts from the past - such as Freak or Unique, Ugly Bloke and Fat Lookalikes - as well as the introduction of new features.
