The acclaimed actress shared that after having a career spanning over three decades. And 100 films, she has “earned” her “me time”.

Manisha took to Instagram, where she shared a slew of pictures, which she captioned: “A lot of people ask me what I’m doing these days…some genuinely asking but sometimes it’s like asking at 53 you couldn’t be doing much…true !!”

Mumbai, April 3: Post illness, actress Manisha Koirala is eagerly waiting to wear the grease paint and face the camera, but is not ready to do small roles.

"I want to see myself on the screen but it has to be with good script, good actors, and director. I have been getting lot of offers, but they say it's an important role with two scenes. I will not do that and I am not interested."

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has finally locked a release date for his new movie Kaanchi - it will hit the screens April 11.

The film, which stars Ghai’s latest find Mishti and actor Kartik Aryan along with veterans Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi Kapoor, is about inner power of a woman who represents millions of suppressed youth against injustice in the country, said a statement issued by the filmmaker’s banner Mukta Arts.

The film is directed and produced by Ghai, and its musical score is done by Ismail Darbar and Salim-Suleiman with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

Mumbai, Nov 20: Actress Manisha Koirala is down with jaundice but her manager confirms she is on the road to recovery.

"Manisha is taking rest now. She is recovering from jaundice. She is absolutely fine. In fact, she has already recovered," Manisha's manager Subroto Ghosh told Ians.

She was reportedly planning to return to work from mid-November, but this has now been delayed.

Ghai, who launched actresses like Manisha Koirala (with "Saudagar") and Mahima Chaudhry ("Pardes"), is now introducing Mishti to Bollywood with "Kaanchi".

"We wanted to cast either a superstar actress or a newcomer because only these two could do the film and nobody else. But the writers said big stars have date issues and we are in a compulsion to complete the film in time," Ghai told Ians.

"She was hospitalized yesterday (Wednesday). She is undergoing a few check−ups. She is doing fine," a hospital source told Ians. She will be discharged when her medical reports are out.
