I saw this movie while I was a teen and it had a powerful effect on me and my dating relationships. I learned to look at drop-dead-gorgeous guys in a different light. For a long time after that I would look at a cute guy and wonder what is hiding behind the attractive facade. I will always remember that movie and what a hunk can do to you, if you don't watch out. I have seen the main actor play in other roles too but I think this one fitted him the best. The revenge part was kind of cheesy, not quite reality, although I could identify with the ladies trying to get even. Actually I am planning to go and rent it and watch it real soon with my whole family.

I had never heard of this show until I noticed it on Amazon prime. I am glad I did as it is an entertaining three hours, telling the story of three attractive women who meet a handsome hunk while holidaying in Morocco. He wines, dines and does other nice things to them, so they are easy prey to his charm and setting them up for his plan is a doddle. The story is similar in many ways to 'Bangkok Hilton' which starred a young Nicole Kidman and was released just a couple of years earlier. This is not quite as good as Bangkok Hilton, but that is a very hard act to follow. So, if you like a good, entertaining yarn this is a safe bet. If you have not seen Bangkok Hilton check it out.
I was rather young when I saw it (early teens) and I remember it as kind of bizarre and scary.
3 frustrated women, with crappy life blame it all on the man who: Seduced all 3 of them with promises of eternal love, framed them with drug dealing and then left them in a horrible filthy Moroccan jail.
One of them encounters him years later and the 3 decide to take revenge. Eventually locking him in a secluded house and feeding him disgusting mushy food.
That terrible ending, and the scene displaying the seduction of the Moroccan jailer seemed so fearful to me at my then tender age that I remember them disgustingly until this day.

I really enjoyed this series. I saw it when I was in my teens and it has stuck in my mind ever since. It has a haunting sound track and gripping story line told cleverly in flash back. 3 women in their early 20's are on holiday in Africa when they meet 2 men who set them up by putting Hash in their van as they cross the boarder into Spain. The scenery is amazing, and it is shot very well, sometimes quite voyeuristically. All of the main actors put on good performances and it certainly brings home what it must be like to be locked up in a foreign jail. Well worth the watch.
