- TriviaMartin Short's co-stars are usually standing on boxes and next to slightly oversize props.
- GoofsIn the restaurant, Mr. Ellis gives Sarah a choker necklace. It's extremely tight-fitting, and this is explicitly commented upon. Later in the same scene, the necklace is clearly much longer, and Sarah easily removes it by lifting it over her head.
- Quotes
Clifford: Uncle Martin, save me...! Uncle Martin?
Martin Daniels: I'm thinking it over!
Clifford: Please? I'm scared!
Martin Daniels: Well, I'm scared about what might happen if I save you. You know, I should do mankind a tremendous favor and let that dinosaur eat you. I mean, who knows what horrors you might unleash, or what if you got your hands on some plutonium?
[mocking Clifford]
Martin Daniels: "I just made the bestest nuclear bomb in the whole wide world."
- Alternate versionsWhen aired on Comedy Central and later on the Disney Channel, five scenes deleted from the final cut are restored and also to edit out questionable content. The first one has Clifford and his parents forced off the plane when Clifford makes it land in Los Angeles. The second one has Clifford in the airport pretending to be a poor, deaf boy and many passerby's are seen donating gifts to him. The third one occurs when Clifford and Martin exit Sarah's house and he tells Clifford that Sneakers, the dog that he stole from the airport, ran away, much to Clifford's sadness. The fourth one occurs after the mini-mart incident, when Sarah and Mr. Ellis are in his private plane overlooking a possible site for a new daycare center. The fifth and final deleted scene shows Clifford sleeping over at Sarah's house, following Martin's arrest, offering her his great grandmother's wedding ring.
